  1. can anyone give me a power rating for rb30 NA bottom end (na pistons rods etc) with a NA 25 head?? what can na piston withstand??? for turbo application.
  2. Hi brisbane skyline, well i havent got a camera to show you, but i'll tell you how i did it. I used the line from the wastegate on the turbo and used the line coming of the plenum. There is like two outputs on the plenum close to each other, just t piece into one of them, and should have no probs good luck:)
  3. Wow nis33 your engine bay looks mad!!! who did your work??
  4. so would you say there is a big differance up top or a just bit??? Thanks mate
  5. yer thats what everyone has been telling me . Plan to breaking to the 12,s now is a bit more power, better tyres and shim up the LSD. definate 12'S
  6. I just ran 13.2 @110mph with 286rwhp last nite in my skyline. Simex 225 50 16s with flat 2.0 60 foot time.
  7. do you feel you have lost power down low ? thanks
  8. Hi Rob the car is not jerky when on boost, even though the boost needle is moving. When you get the intstructions it has a picture of the boost sensor and how to wire it all up. The boost sensor should be on the left hand side of the firewall. easy to spot if you know what your looking for. If anyone else has installed one please write your comments, as I wonder if it is any differant on a smaller tubo, unlike mine which has a fair bit of lag.???? Ps go to hikari they are $325 delivered
  9. Ive got a 3600 pound daiken excedy organic performance clutch. Totally streetable and not even a hint of slippage with 286rwhp. Cost $325 Slacks Creek Brake and Clutch. Also same price for 33s:burnout:
  10. no i dont have a hand controller(would like one) and didn't find a laptop in time when we tuned my car Yer burgangy is the best factory colour. hehe
  11. Here's a pic of my car
  12. ok Interloper, First of all I find Microtech a great computer if you are on a budget. Drivability is fine, as it drives like the standard computer, but there is a few things that dislike about my Microtech. Cold starts, the car sometimes stalls on the first turn of the key and will not idle properly until the car has warmed up properly. This seems to be a problem that most cars with microtech have. Fuel ecomomy, well that went out the window along with my standard computer. Microtech is Very bad on fuel, this also may be caused by the tuning as I like it too be a little fat. Even when i'm off boost and on the highway it still sucks fuel like no tomorrow. Yes approx 350km. If i could do it all over again i would chose apexi or motec because of money i have wasted on fuel i could have afforded either of these. No Joke Good luck with it all:D Ps thanks for the toilet jokes guys!!!!!!!:bahaha:
  13. All the mods I have on my car are listed. They also said i had enough fuel for just over 300hp.
  14. Yes you can say i'm a little focused on the dyno readout, I guess 212kw is not enough. The tune on the car was pretty S&*t, as soon as i gave it a boot full it detonated the loudest i have ever heard it. Sooo in 2 weeks it will be going back on the dyno, the same one as the rb silvia. I'll let everyone know how it goes!
  15. The bonnet was up on the dyno. See now i dont know if it was my auto diff that made me win or the power of my engine???? I dont think the differance of 45kw between me and the silva was in the diff. It's just got me thinking about the accuracy of the dyno.?????
  16. Well my car just dynoed 212kw @ 18psi. My mods include: Microtech LT-8 Custom Frontmount 3.5 inch dump to cat 3 inch for the rest Hyflow T3/4 h/d Clutch Vl pusher pump as well as standard intank Standard air box Well i don't know what everyone else thinks but this seams a little low for the modifications. I though atleast 257kw because have beaten a certain silva with a rb20 before. The dyno was not in shootout mode and had a ramp rate of 100
  17. Hi all, I have installed the hybrid boost controller. I have to say it was the easiest ebc install(just three wires, the same three that run to the factory boost reciever in the engine bay) i have ever done!! Very easy to tune, just set the dials for hi/low boost. On the road it holds boost and at 20psi is only only slightly shaking the needle on the boost gauge (not more than half a psi either way. As for brining boost on earlier I noticed a little differance install 9/10 tunability 10/10 boost holding 8/10 (twin solonoid would have been better) Appearance 4/10 (only one blue led and no screen as per avcr) All in all not bad for $325 delivered
  18. yeah alright $150
  19. I opened up the screen, and there was a big burn mark on the chip board. So Id say it has been short circut and would be pretty much useless. Sorry:(
  20. pics AND THE FILTER DOES FIT A R33
