Hey everyone Thanks to Juice Polishes, Motive is now on TV!! Season 1 of Motive TV starts this MOnday July 5th at 8pm and new episodes will air every Monday night for 10 weeks at 8pm EST with repeats in between. I've been trying to get a modified import performance TV show on air for a very long time and finally done it. SO make sure you support it so we can put a real budget behind season 2!! Id rather a stock R34 GTR over ANY R33 GTS-t you could buy/build for same price. We had a R34 GTR here at CRD with exhaust, drop in cams, injectors, pump, Power FC and Dash-7 turbos.....350kW @ wheels all day everyday on stock internals, engine bay looks stock and very responsive and driveable. A 350rwkW GTS-t would not keep up and would not be very driveable in comparison If you actually have 40K in total then buy the real deal. At least if you sell it, you'll get some money back too. If it was priced competitively with the GTR it would be a great car, but it isnt, its an absolute RIP-OFF and only wankers who want a car someone elses hasn't got will buy it

unfortunately I didnt get proper footage as I was in Melbourne....i went every other time but the time I dont they do it!!! Im tracking some footage down to put up, even if its crappy phone footage, better than nothing

nope, it has extra sound deadening and a stereo system and all the brakes, turbo kit etc adds weight. No weight reduction at all. Its an Aussie spec GTR on radial tires with full exhaust. Its how its driven on the street!!! No cage, no chute...nothin.

Many of you would have heard of Robert Marjan's "Dreamcrusher" R32 GTR with the numberplates JUN, well the car just ran a 9.22 @ 155 mph!!! Making it one of the fastest true street GTRs in the world. Previous visits to the track for testing didn't see any numbers as the guys wanted to make sure the one run they would get would be worth it and spot on as the car has no cage and is a true street car with air conditioning and full interior. The car weighs 1690kg, making the time even more impressive!!! The car was featured in Motive DVD #3 and I will post the feature up online tomorrow. The car was built at tuned by CRD using Nitto Performance Engineering engine parts, a HKS turbo, OS-Giken sequential box and custom CRD suspesnion. And for those who want to know, the car is driven on the street and thats what it was built for! Congrats to Rob, JIm and all the boys at CRD!

Hey guys I have an account with Toyo and I bought these tires a while back and now Im getting two sets of 18s and stead of 18s and 19s so I dont need them anymore. They are Toyo's top peformance street tire before switching to semi slick. Can find out plenty about them at www.toyo.com.au They are: Toyo Tires Proxes T1R - 235/35/19 and 275/30/19 OK, These are worth retail $391 each for fronts and $602 each for rears, so $1986 retail They COST me $348.81 each for the fronts and $463.54 each for the rears, so $1624.70 Now obviously now one will pay that much when you can get ling-long el-cheapo crappo shitty taiwanese tires for much less, so I just want to get back enough money to buy some 18-inch tires. $1100

He's a wanker YHI Australia brings in Advanti, Lenso and Enkei so any tyre shop that stocks Advant or Lenso has access to Enkei but YHI dont take Enkei ery seriously and dont keep much in the way of sizes in stock and orders takes months to arrive. I order mine out the US and got them from there and it was cheaper.

OK guys, I hate to do this to everyone but after a meeting tonight we have decided to move the event back a little bit. It will still be this year though. Why? 6 weeks is to soon to organise an event of this size so we want to make it bigger and better by moving it back a bit. We will have a new date by the end of this week. they were 'TESTING" the rear wing. it does need some fine tuning as yes, it was going flat while accelerating out of the corner. Needs to stay angled up for longer

OK peoples. There is a new event starting up soon. Its something Motive DVD and Project D have been working on for a few months and we had our meeting with WSID today so its locked in. The initial idea was a Silvia Nationals but with the event so close and us liking all cars we've made it a Japanese Performance Car event. It will be held on the 8th and 9th of May at WSID and will incorporating driving events ( both practice sessions and comps) of all types, show and shine, dyno, swapmeet, traders, entertainment and a good lifestyle focus too. We will be building a massive drifting course similar to what you see at D1GP in Odaiba and at TAS. We will also have a "Dutton" style tarmac course set-up as well. its not a motorkhana, there are roads laid out to drive on in a massive fenced off area. Its a speed course, not a motorkhana. So, we are holding he JDM SHOWDOWN bought to you by Project D and Motive DVD incorporating: 2 Pro drifting tournaments THE SILVIA NATIONALS JDM Drag Showdown Speedcourse Showdown ( Dutton style tarmac course) Dyno Showdown Import Show-off ( show and shine) Swapmeet Traders Alley Entertainment and giveaways Also, Speedcourse, drift course and drag strip will be open for fun runs/practice all weekend so people can get heaps of track time. Sunday is totally dedicated to driving so you can drive down the strip, then have a drift then do the speed course Competitions for Top Silvia, Top Skyline, Top Evo etc Top JDM car, Top Show car, Top Street Car, Top Engineering whatever etc etc etc Awards taht are relevent to people who still use their cars. if this goes as big as we want it to then we will hold separate Silvia Nats and maybe Nissan Nats and other drift events too. A lot of Japanese cars have big turbos, making them come on boost slower mid corner then hit on the straight. Believe it or not but gib single turbo cars get MORE traction, not less. 3-liter with little turbso and E85 make high 400kWs means a LOT of mid range torque. you can see as soon as he stands on it the torque means the car breaks traction. With the 4WD system sorted it will be better. Its called testing for a reason....becuase they are testing stuff
