  1. Change of plan. Looks like Motive DVD wont be covering the event. Sorry.
  2. as embarrassing as it is now, back in 1999, my 91 Mazda MX6 turbo was cool!!
  3. who do I speak to about having a stand and a few cars there?
  4. Motive DVD is in. We'll be covering the event and having a stall selling Motive DVD, DSPORT Magazine and other bits and pieces. Will also bring some cars to put on display. See you all there
  5. Motive DVD is in. We'll be covering the event and having a stall. Will also bring some cars too. See you all there
  6. Hey. Thanks to DSPORT we got the chance to film two GTRs from SP Engineering in the USA. One with a HKS570 kit and one with the GReddy twin TD06 kit and Haltech ECU with over 750whp. We'll be filming them on the dyno and driving this week and putting full feature in a Motive DVD soon. Probably issue #6 Also will be featuring some R35s at the Redline Time Attack final
  7. might be bringing DSPORT Magazine to Australia if the demand is there. its very performance and tech based www.dsportmag.com
  8. it makes the average joe blo feel better about spending their hard earned cash on a car under 100,000. You can deny that smoking a "real" supercar in your Silvia/Supra/GTR etc feels damn good.
  9. just a big thankyou to everyone who bought it, Motive DVD #3 is travelling well at the news stands helping ensure the future of the DVD. Motive DVD#4 short trailer will be up in a week or so P.S. We're featuring the twin TD06 equipped R35 from SP Engineering in the US with DSPORT in the next 2 weeks while we're in California
  10. Ill have a preview for Motive 4 soon. Maybe we should start a new thread with that one!!
  11. GTR might be cheap to buy but an an engine and drivetrain re-build will cost you more than the car!!! And owning a GTR doesnt make you a GTR driver. Learn to drive and save up to buy a decent one or get stuck with a broken one in your driveway ( or at a workshop) that you cant afford to fix
  12. we made 6 pages!!!! BTW the two new special edition Motive DVDs are available now.
  13. Ok, this is getting silly now, you must have some sort of personal grudge to keep going on like this. Enough already and buy the DVD, it will make you feel better
  14. ha ha yeah, that was a crazy night. COming back to Perth briefly for Powercrusie next weekend and someone on Antilag is suppossed to be organising a cruise for the Thursday night
  15. This is getting pathetic really. Lets get one thing clear. The product is less than 6 months old and in now way has it returned any profit during the formative period. I cove things in the Australian car scene and make Motive DVD OUT OF MY OWN POCKET So, if forums want to help Motive DVD grow by spreading the word, then i can cover more events and hold more challanges etc and help support the car scene. If a forum wants to treat me like someone selling chinese intercoolers on the net to make a quick buck and try and make me pay ( which this one doesnt) then fine, I wont cover any event or cars linked to that forum. I already have that problem with some other forums. On the flip side, If you want I can put more advertising in my DVD to cove teh costs of my advetising? How does that sound? Exactly. I pay out of my own pocket to keep advertising to a bare minimum as no one likes watching advertising in the DVD. Now by now you would have realised that if the forum owner and moderators had a problem with Motive DVD they would have binned this thread ages ago, but they havn't. The only thing ruining this forum now is people complaining about something that really has nothing to do with them. And while we're here, thanks to the moderators, owner and members for supporting Motive DVD!!! One of very few automotive titles, and the only DVD, in Australia that is privately owned and funded by a car enthusiast and not run by an accountant. Now it should be safe to say, if its OK with you [200] , that this discussion is finished......now.
  16. Thanks for all your support guys Ive put a lot of time and money into Motive and #3 is the one that should cement Motive DVD firmly into the car scene. The more people buy it, the more we can do with it. Got heaps of challenges and shootouts lined up for next year
  17. OK, enough of this crap. Each DVD cost more money to make than I would ever want to admit and just covering the R34 10th Anniversary cruise costs me over 3 grand, and yes, OUT OF MY POCKET so being allowed to let people know about the DVD in return for covering relevant events is totally fair. Im not just some newbie production company trying to make some quick cash you know, I've been in the scene for over 10 years and many people can vouch for it, so keep it on topic, if you dont like it then keep it to yourself. To everyone else, thanks for the support and glad you like the DVD
  18. OK then, next time Ill just get someone else to post it up and it wont be breaking any rules then. Why do you care so much? Personal grudge maybe?
  19. how about because I spend money out of my own pocket to support the car scene and report on it AND because I covered the R34 10th Anniversary cruise AND this DVD has heaps of GTR stuff on it so chill
  20. thanks for the support guys. good to hear its selling out as we put a lot into this one!
  21. If you can drive, they suck If your like 99.9% of people on the Earth and cant drive, they are good.
