well im sure its gonna cost me a bomb, but the only thing thart worries me is that they have a rule of bringing in cars which are less than 10yrs old. And my skyline will be 11 yrs old... But im sure there is way to get around that... And seeing the Team BHP thread i just came to know that there is a R34 GTR in India.. Not many people know that there... So when i go there for holidays this time i will find out all the possible info on importing it.. Will keep u guyz Updated!!

Hey guyz, im finally getting the oil changed in my car and have a decided to use Motul Turbolight 4100... Well i use it for everyday use but my car will be seeing the track in few days and that is the main reason im changing the oil now... But i need it for all round performance which would be track as well as Day to day!! So what vicosity oil would u guyz recommend?? I was a little confused with the 0w40 and 10w40 when the mechanic asked me today!! Or should i be using some other vicosity!! And what sort of oil filter should i pick up and from where... BTW i have a R34 GTT pulling 180KW at the Rear... And what brake fluid should i buy , will just top that up as its a little low...

It would be out of the world to own a R34 in inidia.. As of now there are no R34's in inidia.. And yea i got a garage with a security.. will have to tighten security if i take the car there... And im from Bangalore... Hyderabad is a nice place.. i like the roads there The tough part is the customs in india.. it will cost me a bomb to import a skyline there.. its like 170% Duty charges

Well i guess ill just leave it as it is for now, and maybe look at in when i plan on changing the front, dump and cat converter to aftermarket ones..

Its just dented a bit, no hole or anyhting, the only reason i asked because it changed the sound of my exhaust a bit after that dent, dont really seem to notice any difference in power.. Oh well i think i have other things to look at and can leave this problem aside... Thnx guyz

Hey guyz, When i was a winton some time back i hit the bottom of my Car at the edge of the track.. And after that the exhaust didnt sound like i did before, so when i got under the car i saw that this box kind of thing which was between my Cat and the muffler was a bit dented from the bottom, How can i get it fixed and would it decrease my performance in any way?? I dont have a pic of exhaust which is dented, but ill post a pic of what i am talking about.. Its the exhaust pipe on the extreme left which has the box kind of thing... BTW i have an Apexi Cat back exhaust!!

I really get what u guys are trying to say, but the only issue is that i dont have 700$ to spend on new tyres.. I have only enough for 2 KU36 for the front and maybe like enough to buy some decent 70%+ Tread tires for the rear.. Its either this or nothing.. and im really interested in doing this track day.. Because after this i dont know when i would get time again.. as im going back to my country for a long holiday!! BTW im going for Driver training at winton and not looking to create some lap times.. Just wanna know controlling and stuff... So if you were me, What would u do??

Hey guyz, Im selling a set of 2 used tyres 235/45/17.. They are of a brand called Clear its like Maxis... Good for drifts or skids or anything... Has a bit camber wear and has 50% thread.. The Tyres are Road worthy, i used to use them on my Car for everyday use.. Im selling them as i bought new tyres.. Selling them at 40$ for 2 tyres... If u need i have 1 more set of 2 tyres also.. Pickup from Melbourne!!

Well.. Finally i have gained a lot of knowledge about tyres and after looking at the prices i will indeed be going for a 235/45/17... They are the most reasonably priced.. Thnx guyz for all the help!!

well i guess the Ku36 looks good comparing it to other tyres its even got a better rating.. So ill be getting a set of tyres for the front and maybe some decent tyres for the rear.. Well i currently just have 180 Kw's ... But the current rear tyres im running just dont grip.. even in the Dry!! Hey RB_Ryan .. Did optiongarage send u the tyres from QLD or u got it from melbourne??

So do u think getting a set of Kumho K36 for the front and decent 50% treaded tires at the back are a good way to go? And since the K36 is kinda a semi slick, how is the grip in the wet? Because then i will use the same tyres for my everyday use!!

The only reason is i have a tight budget and cant be spending to much.. ->DUNLOP LM702 If anyone knows of any good tyres that i could just use for the track day and something thats not to expensive please let me know!!

Well then i guess im in.. Will be going for Driver training!! My friend wants to passenger with me just for this track day , so do u guyz know any place where he can get a helmet from just for the day.. As after that he has no use of it!!

Lol.. well im from india man.. Im just here to study and getting stolen is not a problem, i dont think it would be hard to find the only R34 in india!! And ya i do!!

So what do u suggest i go for Driver training or the normal thing?? I just want a the maximum track time.. So i can get better.. Is there only a certain period for driver training or is it full day like the others?? And BTW are passengers allowed without a roll cage??

Well then i guess im just going to leave my street tyres for the back and get some good performance street tyres for the front.. Is it ok if i get like 2nd hand tyres with like arnd 60-70% tread in the front?

Hey Guyz, well im planning on going for my 1st circuit track day at winton on the 10th of oct and i wanted some info on the things ill need to get done for it.. Well just few weeks back i came back from drift at winton and i am using the same tyres on my car that i used for drifting as it still has a descent amount of tread left... The thing u should know is that all my 4 tyres are not worthy enough for the track, so i just need tyres for the track day!! What tyres for track day are more important rears or front? This is only becuase im low on money and really want to do a track day before i have my exams and then get busy later on..... Should i get like any used semi slicks for the front and descent tyres for the rear?? Would 2nd hand tyres like semi slicks or just some good performance tyres also do? As said i just need them for the Day so i dont want any fancy tyres... I can use my current tyres for the street as usual!! Thanks Guyz!!
