  1. Hi, Anybody from NZ here that has had the babyseat anchors added to their M35 Stagea? I'm located in Hamilton. Cheers, Tom
  2. http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=276047856 aAny Kiwi M35 owners that need a cargo blind? I just noticed one on trademe last night with a buy now of $90. Auction finishes at 7.56pm tonight (sat 13th March)

Here's a few photos of our Stagea.
  4. I was in the waiting room of the Doctor's the other day and picked up a NZ Classic Cars magazine and it had a write up on the Prince Skyline S50, from 1963! It was a pretty cool car, so I had a look on the net, and came across an interesting link tracing the history of the Skyline from 1955 through to 2001. http://history.jbskyline.net/ you may have seen it before, but I couldn't find any reference to "Prince" on the website, so enjoy.
  5. Thanks for the prompt response Andy. I too was wondering why they would install the panasonic stuff if the cars were made with TV/GPS, but as you say if it was an option this can didn't come with that would make a lot more sense. I'm not fussed with watching TV in the car, but thought it would be good to figure out milage and trip computer stuff. I'll have a look behind the kick panel on the weekend, but suspect that it will be a Japanese, not good for NZ! I might have to take it to an auto electrician in Hamilton and see what they can find out about the existing system. cheers, Tom
  6. Hi, Here are a couple of photos of my 2002 Stagea 250RS. These were taken 10 days ago on the "Railway straight" of the Hamilton 400 V8 track. The car has 19" ZU2 mags that look pretty trick. I'll take some more photos and add them on the weekend. Cheers, Tom
  7. Hi Guys, Great forum you have here, lots of useful information and helpful answers. I've got a 2002 Stagea 250RS with the Autech AeroSelect modifications. I notice in a lot of the M35 stagea's that they have a pop-up screen just below the clock display, so I am wondering if there is one hiding behind the Panasonic TR-T70W2 screen in mine? The Screen has english buttons, but the menus are all in Japanese. I sometimes get a fuzzy TV picture, but have never seen any of the fuel economy information or any other useful info like that. I have the Tr-T70w2 manual, and have found some partial translations via Google, but so far haven't found anything that remotely looks like on-board technical data. Is it possible that this screen isn't connected to the on-board stuff at all? The Sat nav is a panasonic CN-DV2200, but with no DVD, and from what I can tell, it sounds like the Sat Nav isn't worth a can of beans. Anyway, I've attached a photo of the dash. Cheers, Tom
  8. Hey Sam, Glad to see another Kiwi here. Your BMW conversion sounds like a pretty exciting project. Great that you can get the old man to lend you a hand, it is excellent bonding time. A Skyline motor into a BMW is a far cry from my own car project at 17 (I put a 1500 cortina motor into a 1964 Ford Anglia) Ah, times change. It goes without saying that your project is going to be a heck of a lot harder . Good luck with it all, and post a few pics when it is all finished (hmm, the original post was oct 2008, you must almost be finished by now). cheers, Tom Carr
  9. Howdy from New Zealand, Great website, and lots of useful information around here. We purchased our 2002 Stagea 250RS last weekend. It seems pretty standard, apart from 19" rims, and the AUTECH sticker on the back (not too sure if that means anything special has been done to it, but I'm picking it has been lowered a little). Have noticed it is pretty thirsty, although first week driving is always done with more accelerating than really need . Not sure how many Kiwi's are on this forum, but have already noticed 4 Stagea's on my drive to work this week. I'll post a few pics in the net day or so. Cheers, Tom Carr Hamilton, NZ
