Hey guys Over the last few days my S1 C34 RS4 has developed a vibration at idle, but only in drive or reverse gears. In park or neutral there is no vibration. The vibration can sometimes gets worse when the steering wheel is turned, and then it goes away at about 20kph or higher. I think this started to happen after I got a wheel alignment, so im thinking there might be something that has been left a bit loose? I havent been able to look under the car yet, so I dont know if theres anything touching where it shouldnt be, or anything like that. Any suggestions about what to look for would be great

C34's are based on the Laurel from memory, and the standard S1's didn't have any manual versions I have a S1 C34, and it carries 5 adults around fairly frequently. I'm about 6'3 and need to have my seat all the way back to drive comfortably. This means there isn't very much leg room behind me. I picked mine up with 130k km's, put about 7k on it since then and havent had any real problems at all. It's mildly modded with catback exhaust, fmic, pod filter and coilovers, and is very easy and comfortable to drive.

Hey mate, I bought my C34 from Nagoya, although it had been traded in by someone else rather than being imported. They were pretty good, although they did say it was being sold with a 3 year warranty, and then once the sale papers had been signed, they suddenly never offered a warranty on traded in vehicles . . . My old man also bought a V35 sedan from them, and he has had no problems with it. I'm pretty sure tyres will be changed at compliance, they wont be terrible tyres, but they wont be the best top of the line either. For fuel, try to always run premium unleaded (98 octane), or if you really have to use normal unleaded with some octane booster. I think Just Jap does servicing, but I may be wrong. I plan to take my stag to Autosport in Kirrawee for my rego check and a service. Most imports have had their clocks wound back, check the seats and steering wheel for excessive wear, if it is fairly worn then the car has done a bit more than 52k km's. Sometimes the cars will have jap servicing stickers on them as well, which will say the km's and date of the last service.

Ah, thats interesting. My stag doesnt have one of those, i guess it must have been removed by a previous owner. I've seen those sort of things on some other imports though, but never knew what they were for. Am I right in assuming it's an aerial of some sort? Or is that completely wrong? Sorry about the newby questions
