  1. Congrats !! now its time to aim for 10s. you are almost there.
  2. will, what happened has happened. for now, I just want to get a better tune. some guys think that its a good tune overall but when I drive the car and feel the torque drop at 4K RPM I just hate the car. so deffenetly i want to fix it. (might not be the tune that is causing it but the guy at the garage told me that this is the best thing that can be done with my car) not sure what he meant by that exactly. and when i see other dyno results from different cars. I notice that when they tune their car for 14 PSI they can reach that boost and very close to it in the mid range. in my situation I get 9 and 10 PSI for almost the whole time and at the end the boost reaches 13.6
  3. I live at runcorn, 4113 Brisbane QLD I dont mind driving for an hour to get to a good tuner. and thanks alot for the replies guys Aler
  4. forgot to mention BTW, I didn't blame the tuner for the results. I took the car, paid him the money. came here to get more info about it. the biggest reason for me to be a member in these forums is to learn. and my questions were what you guys think about the torque drop, and what you guys think about the boost ..ect. didn't say, "do you guys think that i should go back and ask for my money?" and if I sounded like blaming the tuner or something then I'm sorry,, didn't mean anything like that
  5. Gtst r33 1996 power FC E-boost 2 controller adjustable shock absorbers swaybar splitfire coils HKS bov HKS intercooler GT-RS turbo 3" exhaust apexi air filter + intake 18" wheels havy duty clutch aftermarket fuel pump and injectors (not sure from which company). So you guys think that I shouldn't take it to another tuner? any suggestion weather i should do something or not? is it good enough or not? and my other question was can I apply more PSI to that engine? (stock internals)
  6. hey, I got my tuned a while ago and I got these results. I payed 620$ for the tuner and I am not happy with the results. what do you guys think about the a/f ratio and the drop in torque around 3800RPM? and for the boost, is that the kind of boost I should expect from the GT-RS turbo? shouldn't it reach peak boost earlier? final question, is it possible to get higher boost than that on stock internals? thanks in advance. Aler
  7. yup, thanks for the pictures mate. I know alot about american muscle cars and i own 2 at the moment (2006 LS2 6.0L Corvette stock 320 rwhp, and a 99 Camaro SS 430 rwhp) but both of them are NA's and i've never used turbos and my knowledge about Turbo's and Superchargers are very little,, as you can see. I'll be in australia for a couple of years,,, missed my sports cars,,, thought about a change, so i got my turbo charged skyline and i am having a wonderfull experience with that car so far "except for that small issue lol" thanks for the replies guys Aler
  8. thanks for the replies guys and BTW gotrice, to me your explanation is very clear and now i can imagine exactly how does these things work Aler

  10. thanks for the reply, I got that from the link you've provided "Most automotive turbochargers have a wastegate, which allows the use of a smaller turbocharger to reduce lag while preventing it from spinning too quickly at high engine speeds. The wastegate is a valve that allows the exhaust to bypass the turbine blades. The wastegate senses the boost pressure. If the pressure gets too high, it could be an indicator that the turbine is spinning too quickly, so the wastegate bypasses some of the exhaust around the turbine blades, allowing the blades to slow down." so it actually controls the spining of the turbine itself. I am still not sure about the GP function in the eboost2. my guess is that when I increase the value of the gate pressure I keeps the wastegate closed for a longer time which explains the sudden jump in boost. however, I still dont underestand why the boost come a bit late than a lower value. example, if i set the GP value to 12.0.... i feel that the car is very heavy (feels like pulling another car) then at around 3800 jumps straight to 12 PSI. but, when i set the value to 5.0 ...... i can feel the boost at lower RPMs starting from 2600 RPM and climbs gradually and hits 12 PSI at around 4500 RPM. so the question is... why does the car become lighter at lower RPM with lower gate pressure value and feels like an elephant at lower RPMs when the value is higher? (boost kicks in earlier with lower GP value with a late peak)
  11. Hi, from what i understand the wastegate helps with controlling the boost pressure generated by the turbocharger. correct me If i am wrong please, the turbo generates boost and when it reaches the desired boost, the wastegate opens allowing the extra boost the leave the system which will keep the boost constant at the desired level. if what i think is right then, what is the function of the Gp "gate pressure" in the E-boost 2 does exactly? I have my GP set to 6 PSI and i get around 13 PSI. when i increase the GP value i feel that the car boost holds a bit and then suddenly jumps to a high lvl boost causing a boost spike. when i lower it down to minimum I get a strange flattering sound while boosting. can anyone please explain to me what do these things mean? and how does it work? I read the instruction manual and I still dont get it. thanks in advance Aler
  12. thanks for the reply, looks like it gets the pressure from the wastegate. After doing some research, i think that the eboost is not set up properly. The guy who have connected the eboost did the wiring, turned it on, set the some figures without trying it out and said "that should do, you dont need multiple setups" so, I got my Sp set to 30. Sn set to 30 Gp set to 10.0 If you know anything about setting up the eboost 2 please let me know what these things mean and what should i do. Aler
  13. forgot to mention, it has a havy duty clutch as will sory for any grammar or spelling mistakes "English is my second language" and I am not good at it lol
  14. Hi all, this is my first topic anyways, I bought a skyline gtst 06 around 4 months ago, the first thing I've done to it is tuning coz it wasn't tuned. the owner doesn't know much about the mods that were installed in the car coz he is the second owner. the car has, as far as I know: power FC E-boost 2 controller adjustable shock absorbers swaybar splitfire coils HKS bov HKS intercooler GT-RS turbo 3" exhaust apexi air filter 18" wheels not sure how can i check if the injectors and fuel pump are stock or performance ones ( if anyone know how check them please let me know ) after tuning the car, i ended up with 223 rwkw my problem is, when i step on it "full throttle" the boost jumps to 13.8 at around 3000 rpm then suddenly goes down to 9.5 psi then starts to increase till 12PSI at 6800 rpm, it stays at 9.5 between 3000 rpm till 4500 rpm. I am not sure if this is normal or is there a problem with it because it is my first time to mod a forced induction car. but i have a feeling that it has a problem.
