  1. I thought the Syvecs was a pretty expensive option?
  2. I'm in the same boat, over 5 1/2 years down the track; daily driven as well. BC BR's in my NM35 Stagea. Coatings are all still perfect, all dust boots, and bushes are perfect. No leaks, rattles or bangs; and absolutely no degradation of performance. Way better than I ever expected for the $1200 I spent.
  3. That sucks man!!! Wasn't yours vandalised a while back?
  4. Rudi Vandervent, a fellow Stagea owner, and good friend of mine is an excellent professional painter with an award winning business. I'll put you in touch with him Tez.
  5. http://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/348629-what-have-you-done-to-your-stagea-lately/?p=7309973
  6. Where is your mechanic located? If he's telling the truth, he's about to get quite busy.
  7. I've been using Shannon's for home/contents for a few years now. When we moved to Faulco, they killed all the major providers on price, and then their additional "enthusiast cover" put them right at the top for us.
  8. Grab some Torx (pin in centre) headed bolts for the new ones; makes life a bit harder for the scummy little toerags.
  9. Have you slid underneath and whipped out the one next to the starter motor? It's easily accessible (only need a 10mm spanner), and it might be worth giving it a clean; as they can built up ferrous metal particles on the sensing face.
  10. Definitely ignition issues.
  11. Would you recommend the veal?
  12. Because you will still have to deal with the continual delay in throttle opening any time you use the brake. Why press a button every time you want to bypass the delay, when you can enjoy life without it, and very occasionally establish the continuity of the circuit and touch the brake pedal for 5 seconds if/when the ECU light comes on.
  13. Welcome back mate!
  14. I'm a badass from waaaaaay back.
  15. Put 79.48 litres of fuel in my tank. That's a new record.
  16. I only just saw this! Let me know when you have some time Terry; I'm happy to have a look. I can purge as well for a neat internal surface.
  17. It's claimable once the crack is in the "viewing" area of the windscreen. You get one freebie a year with Shannon's. Definitely use a genuine moulding, and see if they'll pay for OEM windscreen as well, some of the cheaper screens don't have the tint strip, or the blackout for the mirror mount.
  18. Epic lols at people owning 2nd, 3rd, and 4th hand owned minimum 10 year old cars thinking that Nissan is paying for anything.
  19. Remove front driveshaft for RWD cred.
  20. I always used to drown everything in ATF, then wrap them up in an oil soaked bedsheet. Then bag it for good measure. Kept a mates built 308 bottom end shiny and lovely whilst his B-port heads were rebuilt by the slowest head shop in the world.
  21. Nicely done; good on you for coming back and letting us know the end result.
  22. Is it possible that you're happy with the wing? Nicely done.
  23. Silver NM35 AXIS on the corner of Talavera & Khartoum Rd Macquarie Park @ 11:25 am!
  24. The unfortunate looking rear wheelarch flaring looks the same as LOLVO.
