  1. That look really nice; I think you'll be well pleased with the NM35. Looking forward to your progress.
  2. I wish, I had a sammich at home...
  3. I insist that you describe said steak.
  4. Hehehe. Desmond pulled a blinder in the last session; well played good sir!
  5. Lol gokarting iz srs bizness. Had heaps of fun, they do seem a little erratic on black flagging; I punted a slowing kart at the top of the track early in the 3 session, and put my hand up when the Marshall chick pulled out the black flag. She then flagged the driver in front, and on the same lap pinged someone else, even though again I had my hand raised. I think on the next lap she did someone else. So if that was you, sorry.
  6. Agreed; for how small the rear one is; it is very unexpected just how much of a difference.
  7. The problem with Old Pac and Nasho, is that they are mostly 60km/h in the fun bits, so "spirited driving" and police presence will almost certainly result in a significant fine. That and the ubiquitous steady stream of near stationary Camry's "sightseeing"... I'm over driving on those roads in search of fun. There are plenty of awesome roads on the other side of the dividing range, or down south is where I choose to ride and drive. Not as many coffee shops, and you can't be precious about stone chips and low lips; but a solid pub meal and a cold beer in front of a roaring fire will be your reward.
  8. Do it anyway; if they're as cheap as you say, and they don't end up fitting, you can always move them on. I believe they will fit.
  9. Looks great; some tasty metal in the background too...
  10. Looks great! What did it end up costing you to get bit here, if you don't mind me asking?
  11. For a little bit more than BC's, I would recommend talking to Josh at MCA. They make an excellent NM35 specific product that can be sprung and valved to suit your specification.
  12. Must has Nismo for to be racecar. DOOOOOOOO EEEEEEET!
  13. Holy crap those tyres have some grip. They must have a treadwear of minus 11ty billion.
  14. Do a f**ken skid, ya girl.
  15. I wish you luck with yours Beau; you've made a nice start, and I think your goals are quite achievable, especially if you have $$$ to spend.
  16. I beg to differ on this point; Mercury carved up the floor in the car to fit the Hybrid R33 GTR. You don't just "Change your mind" after that. https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10151087289191707.431169.153536426706&type=3 As for more power; I call bullshit. I don't believe the car was ever finished, and if it was; NO ONE has ever seen it. For every incredible build that they do; there seems to be 4 stories just like this one, and the owner just giggles like a schoolgirl , and says everything is "secret". If it was done; they would want to show it off. My gut doesn't trust them at all. I would be delighted to be proven wrong, but the silence on this "Build" has been deafening.
  17. Lol, not a fan of the 300 wide rear tyre deal; but the girl...
  18. Some people just want to belong Leon.
  19. Bilstein will be unavailable for the NM35 by now. One of the guys who used to be on the forum bought the the last set in Australia about 5 years ago. They were commissioned by Bilstein Japan, and the sets that were made are the only ones available. There was no plan to make more according to Heasmans when I inquired a few years ago.
  20. Never before in the field of human endeavour has so little been achieved in so much time by just one man. Today I replaced a 3 inch length of 5/16" hose on my turbo watercooling return line. It took four farken hours go to woah; I feel like a retard. I noticed a significant drop in the rad recovery bottle a few days ago, and when I went looking; I found coolant all over the passengers side steering rack boot. Turbo is directly above this area; great! Looked around, no real signs of failed hoses but coolant stains on the hard line, hmmm... After removing the hose, it looks like the hose is delaminated internally due to the radiant heat of the exh manifold, and forcing coolant up the reinforcing braiding and out the cut ends of the hose. Then did a cooling system flush and new coolant. As per protocol; thanks go to Scotty for the cooling system mod, which make bleeding the cooling system a breeze. Good job Scotty.
  21. I remember you saying Scotty, definitely one of my favourite bikes.
