  1. Have a great day everyone!
  2. I towed a horrible blue trailer to Nirimba for Texikhana this morning. God it's awful to tow...
  3. I'm still waiting to hear what Shannon's is going to do with our Mazda...

  5. I have Leon's aftermarket cruise; and have never had an issue.
  6. I'd be very interested to hear what becomes of your mission!
  7. Awwww, that sucks. Waiting to hear the verdict with ours...
  8. Wheel bearing, or balance.
  9. It's a very aggressive offset; you will need to roll guard lips to ensure clearance. 245/40/19" tyres will be optimum.
  10. I said that to her when she called me; we saw a woman knocked unconscious be a huge hailstone a few years ago at the East Coast Nationals at WSID which was the last time it was damaged. House looks fine; but I'll have to wait for a dry day to get up on the roof. That sucks; our repairer told me that the dents on out car are too deep for PDR this time. There are some very skilled operators in this area; we've had great success with PDR in the past.
  11. Silks was great! Really nice service; friendly, knowledgeable sommelier; no pretentiousness, and even gave us a contact that had a wine we'd been trying to find locally. I really need to get back there with the missus soon.
  12. These are a couple from a friend who lives 3 doors down the street from us; I was still at work, so the Stagea is fine, but when Shell heard the hail, she raced out to bring her car up into the garage. Stepped outside and promptly got beaned in the head by a large hailstone, and in the shoulder by another. Retreated to the house, and rode it out. Her car was under a very leafy tree and this appears to have dampened the impact, but we still have at least 20 deep dents all over her little Mazda. It was covered in shredded leaf litter, and a couple of large tree branches. We're insured with Shannons, and they were great to deal with; they'd notified my repairer before I'd even had a chance to ring & arrange an inspection. It's not insured for much; I think they'll probably total loss the car, and pay us out. Ideally they'll leave us with the car, and limit us to 3rd party for the future. This would suit me, as we're about 6-12 months from replacing the car anyway; I don't want to have to purchase a new car right now. I can't imagine what yours must look like Terry; at least we had a bit of protection from the tree.
  13. It wouldn't hurt to do an oil change and a flush with fresh coolant. I'd disconnect the battery, and buy 4 cheap bits of carpet to throw under the tyres. Agree with Ants; throw a car cover over it while you're there.
  14. Looks like I may have sourced a couple of new members; Daniel, a young guy who works at Autobarn Penrith who has an incredibly neat RB26 powered S13, he's really keen to get involved in some events and some sensible cruises. Also Vills; a GTR owning fella I had a great chat with on the Austinmer cruise, already a forum member (not sure of his forum name) and looking to take the next step.
  15. Bahahaha! Bloody high rollers...
  16. I'll have to give it a crack; my missus works in Leura. Silks Brasserie up the top of the main street in Leura was pretty good last time we were there. Beautiful kangaroo fillets with baked pear and seasonal veg. Wysteria lane cafe behind the nursery in Leura had a damn nice pulled pork burger last week too.
  17. ^^^^^^ This, so much this. Take photos, report back for Lulz.
  18. Yes, rear is identical.
  19. Cool evolution of your bike PJ; really nice.
  20. I had no idea about this one; how awesome. Loading zone Only drivers of vehicles principally constructed for carrying goods may park their vehicle in a loading zone. These vehicles may stop for up to 30 minutes if they are being loaded or unloaded. A station wagon or a three-wheeled goods vehicle may stop for up to 15 minutes. If you are driving any other sort of vehicle you may only stop to pick up or set down passengers at the kerb. Hours of operation may apply to some signs. This means restrictions apply for those times only.
  21. There is no clear glass option available for the Stagea when it comes to replacement glass in the windows back from the B pillar. Obtain the Part Number for the glass, and show this to your mechanic; or disregard him, and go see someone who has experience with imports, not Datsun 200b's with rust repairs.
  22. You don't know what you're talking about with your silly black car...
