  1. Quoted for truth.A transmission cooler is very cheap insurance once you see how expensive a gearbox rebuild is.
  2. The car looked great all day Alex, and you did a damn tidy job behind the wheel. The PB was great, but IMO; the consistently quick laps are something you should be really pleased with. With a track temperature above the 12deg you had yesterday, you'll only go quicker. Knocking out a fast one-off isn't necessarily that difficult; stringing together consistent, fast laps is bloody hard.
  3. An interesting byproduct since the mandated minimum passing distances in Queensland; Rather than inflaming hostilities between riders & drivers; NEWLY introduced bicycle laws have changed motorists' behaviour towards their two-wheeled friends for the better, according to the Bundaberg Road Policing Unit. http://m.news-mail.com.au/news/rules-bring-road-users-together-in-good-way/2270616/ It's reassuring when a good idea creates positive change.
  4. Discount trackday accommodation for SAU members?
  5. You would also want to get hold of an R34 GTR rear diff.
  6. Lol, it's because of the exclusive wrapping, right? Cheers Leon.
  7. Now THAT is a useful piece of information.
  8. Mazda RX-8 uses the same ecu, but no idea whether the harness is the same.
  9. Cheers Bob, always happy to post parts to NZ; as long as we stay under the 20kg limit; you can't beat auspost. I can beat basically any price; often by quite a margin. Even including postage; I'm cheaper.
  10. Challenge accepted.
  11. It's a solid hike from Newy mate, if you can do it, why not.
  12. Cry you a what? I was referring to your other comment. You know exactly what I'm talking about. Come or don't come; don't speak for other people. They can do that themselves.

  14. Here's a proposed route; https://www.google.com.au/maps/dir/Panthers+World+of+Entertainment,+Mulgoa+Rd,+Penrith+NSW+2750/Mount+Panorama+Motor+Racing+Circuit,+Panorama+Ave,+Mt+Panorama+NSW+2795/@-33.5992461,150.7235299,14z/data=!4m34!4m33!1m25!1m1!1s0x6b128f534cef0a2b:0xf017d68f9ef71a0!2m2!1d150.675691!2d-33.757895!3m4!1m2!1d150.7109854!2d-33.6032461!3s0x6b12827bb39d2edb:0x68c7318150f69f48!3m4!1m2!1d150.2940028!2d-33.5170166!3s0x6b1275d9855081df:0xc69e3b467b97b705!3m4!1m2!1d150.256335!2d-33.5873189!3s0x6b12730a058c65e7:0x13017d67e7ba29d1!3m4!1m2!1d149.8483156!2d-33.7029155!3s0x6b12200464723eb5:0x130609b472c2a790!1m5!1m1!1s0x6b11e60ac0c44a5f:0xe09137c65fd2dd11!2m2!1d149.56275!2d-33.438035!3e0?hl=en It's 201km, with a proposed time of 3h 11m. With some strategic spots to regroup, & photograph; this should be a nice run. I'd be estimating perhaps another 45mins -1 hr to the trip. It has a mix of tight stuff, and plenty of open corners with damn nice scenery. It was good on the bike; so it should be fairly ok even for people with low clearance. The best thing; there is basically no-one on these roads (once you get off the GWH) to spoil the flow of a good quality cruise. Also, everything is 100km/h once you get away from the GWH at Jenolan Caves Rd. There is a beaut Country pub at O'connell with ample parking; it is about 25km from Mt Panorama, and has awesome bistro food, cold beer, and good prices. They have a large outdoor area with a fire when it's cold, and they are used to serving large numbers, so you won't wait forever for a meal. Once you're done at Mt Panorama; do the zombie run back along the GWH back to Lithgow, then you can either run down Bell's Line, or continue along the GWH into the epic afternoon traffic in the upper mountains.
  15. Hey Brendan, I can do the first few legs, but I'll probably have dip out around Mt Vic, or a little further. I'll put a couple of options together tonight, and put them on the FB thread. If they look good; by all means use them. I was out at Bathurst on my bike a week ago; mates & I found a really good route. Stop it dude. Come, or don't come. Don't poison this the way you did with the SAU Cars & coffee show.
  16. This sounds a lot like shameless self promotion. Have you registered as a trader on SAU? If not, perhaps you should, before you use the forum for free advertising. Support the forum that supports you. Good luck with your business.
  17. The most direct route being up GWH? It is littered with roadworks, 40kay zones etc. Weekend will make it shite. Out through Agnes banks, up Bell's line is the only enjoyable option currently. Even if you decide to cut across the darling causeway & down Mt Vic pass, that's still a better option than the Highway atm.
  18. If you buy the right cooler kit; there is no need to relocate the washer bottle. The oem cooler pipe goes past it; no reason why a fabricated pipe can't.
  19. One of the best mods you can do on an M35. Well worth the spend.
  20. These are currently not a stock item with Whiteline, but this too, is hopefully going to change soon. I have shipped bars to NZ, generally my prices are better even once shipping is included. I'm on the case with this, I'll keep you posted.
  21. Apologies guys, I can ship to NZ, no problems at all. I'm not fabbing right now, but that is set to change very shortly. Cheers, Dale
  22. Lol; touché. I can't stand the guy; he's the full tinfoil hat, that one.
  23. This. Either that or a bit driver; best money you'll ever spend. Except maybe a turbo.
