  1. Awesome stuff; I'd give up my stupid dolphin screen for that!
  2. Well if that's the case; here's another one for nothing. Found one of you at the last cruise.
  3. Bring a friend or two.
  4. I can't see a problem? Just need a destination.
  5. Leks actually gets on here every now & then; maybe ask him?
  6. Mat, that's generally an indicator that the gas struts are carrying too much pressure for their allocated task. Bonnet struts don't need a great deal of pressure in them; otherwise they basically become a load point like yours have done. This kind of damage is super common on Alloy, Fibreglass & Carbon Bonnets. The Strut re-gas guys can set strut pressure to suit particular appilcation; this will prevent a repeat performance. I've had hatch struts gassed at a higher pressure to allow for a rear wing before. I think this guy will be the closest to you? They are mobile; so they come to you. 7. But Lol.
  8. I have one of these also; it was satisfactory for Shannons, but if in doubt, go & see a specialist like Carbon Car Systems. They have products for all budgets, & are absolutely no nonsense.
  9. That's brilliant; wasn't holding out much hope TBH. Time to book her in for a far better immobiliser/alarm system. Especially if they have a way to move your car without damaging it. Carbon Car Systems in Blacktown are a forum & SAU NSW club sponsor; they do great work.
  10. One of my missus friends went to put her ugly arse knock-off "designer" handbag (resplendent in buckles & studs) ON THE ROOF OF MY CAR! Crisis averted when my very wise partner yells "Don't even think about it! Death will surely follow!" Such a good egg. Took her out & bought her a new handbag made of what I can only assume must be baby's bottom skin; so soft.
  11. That's bloody rotten mate, hope it turns up undamaged. I'll keep an eye out, but I'm pretty far from you unfortunately.
  12. There's also a Ryco with a C at the end of the p/n which designates it as an activated carbon/charcoal filter, this is the correct replacement for the factory one.
  13. Yeah, that's until VW release the Golf R wagon... http://www.motoring.com.au/news/small-passenger/volkswagen/golf/spy-pics-volkswagen-golf-r-estate-42493?utm_content=bufferabd6c&utm_medium=social&utm_source=facebook.com&utm_campaign=buffer
  14. I have been for close on 2 years running the exact same setup as you are running with absolutely no bias issues. Mine pulls up hard & straight time after time with excellent pedal travel & feel. The "restrictors" you speak of; are simply the double flare brake line seats for the GT-t OEM lines; they do not do any kind of restricting at all. Are you absolutely sure you have the calipers on the right way up (bleed nipples at the top) and have introduced no air into the system, or the ABS module? Sometimes silly things can bite you on the arse; you would be shocked at how many peolpe have intalled the Sumitiomo calipers upside down.
  15. I can't believe I've been missing out on all this...
  16. That doesn't necessarily point to the OEM BOV being no good; Just that a 12 or 13 year old one might be no good. For sure there a gains to be made, but I really don't like the "shunty" nature of the throttle response with aftermarket styles. It would be interesting to see whether there is enough meat in the body of a Turbosmart to run the bleed port; or a slightly smaller version of it to allow the slight bleed off that you have with the OEM.
  17. Is it worth abandoning the aftermarket style BOV & returning to a new OEM? The drivability against the stock ones never seems as nice. Great to hear you solved it though.
  18. Yep, scratch my last comment; but the shocks on 350Z & V series look to be quite a bit longer. Agreed Scotty, for the price of a set of KYB shocks; you're 2/3rds of the way to a set of BC's. And they'll sell you a replacement damper for $100ish is you ever need one.
  19. I don't even think the rears will work; don't they run a true coilover, rather than separate coil/shock? The reason M35's run them separately is to allow a flat cargo floor with no intrusive strut towers. Sedans & coupes have no need to do this.
  20. Great to hear mate! If you don't mind my asking; what did they charge you to do the repair?
  21. Hopeless. I'll never be the beef between your buns. Give Mark a call. Good luck with sale/marriage.
  22. Try putting a keyword into Google translate then copy/paste the Japanese text into IM. It's all about the keyword mate.
