There's a huge amount of money invested in that build; the amount of fabrication is enormous. Do some calcs at $120-$160ph for their kind of pricing. I still don't quite see how they were planning on fitting a cooling system in with the size of the turbo in that engine bay.

Currently they have no stock; they are discontinued. There are a couple of rear bars floating around, but no fronts. The feedback I've had both here & on the Stagea FB page is encouraging; I'm hopeful it will be enough. As soon as I have an answer, you will too.

Mine did more than 60,000km making exactly the same noise. When it did finally die it gave me fair warning, & I drove it for another 2000km before I replaced it. The turbo is a known thing, and hardly the end of the world, just budget for a replacement. To put it in perspective; if you owned a Mk5 Golf; the 100,000km service is just over $3000.

Hey Leon, I know mate. The sad truth is, a lack of sales killed these bars; and the number of PM's I got once they were NLA was very frustrating, to say the least. If half of these people had bought a set; they would still be a stock item. Part of the case I plan present is the demand in other markets that have sprung up in the last couple of years; hopefully they will agree. Whiteline appear keen to stock it again; going on yesterdays conversation, but I am not going to give them some "Pie in the Sky" number; and look like a goon when no-one buys them because old mate is "going to wait & see". I'm really hopeful that people understand what is happening here, and that they do something to help. It's absolutely no skin off my nose if it doesn't go ahead, I already have what I need.

The supply issues Whiteline have been encountering are very close to being over; if you like; PM and I can give you some background on why it is happening.

Guys, I need your help. I have just had a chat with Whiteline regarding the possibility of reinstating the NM35 bars as a stock component. I have been asked to present a business argument, but I can only do that if there is enough demand to justify. They are keen to do it; and it doesn't appear that we will need to guarantee the 20 odd sets that was originally talked about. I need to know from you if you would be willing to buy a set; not to wait and see, not to sit on the fence while others do the hard yards. If I can prove that these are still in demand, we will have them. If you sit on your hands, waiting for someone else to stump up; you will be left wobbling around with no one to blame but yourselves. It is in YOUR hands. Please post in here so I can gauge demand. Cheers, Dale.

Hi Tony, I do remember having a chat actually! Don't forget the OEM bars are hollow; so going to the 32mm solid front & 20mm solid rear is a huge increase in roll stiffness. Yours I can do as a one off anytime; so when you are ready mate.

What type of Whiteline links were you using; Were they the H/D style? Did you buy them through me? You should have returned them to a Whiteline dealer for replacement. They are very receptive to warranty & return issues. PM me if you still have them ok?

No worries, I do the H/D Links for $135 a pair; bar prices I'm happy to PM. Is it worth my time throwing together a fresh group buy? If we can get 5 people to confirm their interest; I'll get one together.
