  1. I just got told Marquez DQ'ed? f**k these f**king f**kers.
  2. One round in a worldwide championship that garners millions of viewers and multiple millions in revenue to it's sponsors. Yep, save moneyz & bring the shit tyres. "Let's just get the organisers to make the race completely shit; because we couldn't be arsed making a tyre to last the distance" What a great advertisement for their product.
  3. It never ceases to amaze me how great the right set of wheels can make these wagons look. You're doing it right!
  4. Can you get up there with a tiny mirror (I steal the missus powder compact) and have a look at the hidden edge of the welch plug; ti certainly looks like the culprit. When replacing; I'd do all the ones you can get at; otherwise you will be back there. The studs are not terrible; if the manifold is coming off; it doesn't matter how many you break IMO. I had a mobile thread repairer do all of mine on an RB30 (originally 2 broken, 5 more broke during removal); cost $240 including new studs/nuts/washers; I wouldn't even bother with it myself for that kind of coin. The studs have an incredibly hard life due to the heat cycling the deal with.
  5. I don't mean to treat you like an idiot, but are you sure it isn't water from the air con? Mine drops a little pool of water that dries slightly rusty on the garage floor from the condensate drain. Are you running coolant? It is very easy to trace coolant leaks from the telltale red stain after the water has evaporated.
  6. http://www.motogp.com/en/news/2013/race+direction+decision+for+phillip+island+race The change came courtesy of an announcement from Race Direction after qualifying on Saturday, with Bridgestone having announced that it is unable to guarantee the safety of its rear slick tyres beyond 14 laps. It has therefore been decided to make the following changes to the MotoGP™ class race in the interests of safety: 1. The race distance will be 26 laps (previously scheduled to be 27) 2. Every rider will be required to enter the pits and change to their second machine with fresh tyres at least once during the race. 3. No rider is permitted to make more than 14 laps on any one slick rear tyre. This means that a bike/tyre change before lap 12 would require a second bike/tyre change to finish the race 4. Riders using ‘Factory’ and ‘Satellite’ machines will be required to use the ‘hard’ option tyre (B51DR). Extra quantity will be allocated by Bridgestone 5. Riders using CRT machines will be required to use the CRT ‘hard’ option tyre (B50DR). Extra quantity will be allocated by Bridgestone 6. The pit lane speed limit zone will be extended both on entry and exit and the exit route to rejoin the track will be marked by a white line in the runoff area; crossing this line whilst rejoining the track from pit lane will result in a penalty
  7. It's incredible to look at the underside of a car & think; "Crikey; those tyres sure are dirty!" Amazing work, absolutely in awe of your patience & dedication.
  8. Grumpy Cat says No (En Francais no less), and you have no turbo; Your argument is invalid.
  9. Welcome to the world of black Stagea ownership; the most awesome subset within the group. Looks like a great starting point!
  10. That's just a bread joke. Baguette is French, and sticky.
  11. I can't take all the credit. No, wait; yes I can. Now put a damn engine in yer car Mark.
  12. I'll do what I want with my farkin' lemons, you bloody young smartarse! And it ain't calm, that's for sure!
  13. If the hose is available from Nissan, your dealer can get it. Sounds like they're just being obtuse. Navigating the unfamiliar sections of FAST took my local dealer a while, but they were happy to help me.
  14. Generally it's to stop potential cracks spreading along the length of a seam. I can't get enough of this build; it's my two favourite cars made into one piece of awesomeness.
  15. RIP Supersic! He was the next big personality in Moto GP, they are still feeling his loss. As much as I hate to say it, Dani rode an excellent race; still don't like him. I can't help wondering after the point loss & 25 manufacturer points lost Marquez has been warned to keep his distance from the walking personality void. A mate was at the event; reckoned Marquez was awesome to see in action. On to PI this weekend.
  16. If you can afford to, do a polyurethane or epoxy type floor seal. This is nothing like hardware store floor sealer. These surfaces are used in industrial high traffic areas, the food factories I've worked in renew them every 5 years or so; as a home garage floor it would be next to indestructible. You can steam clean, no damage, use jacks etc, no problem. They can be textured or a gloss finish; the gloss is like glass.
  17. Yep, I hear you. I can get these for far less than RRP if you ever decide you want them.
  18. This guy loves beige. The pic also encapsulates all the reasons why I don't.
  19. Great result Daniel; good on you for getting back to the thread for an update.
  20. Stock guards underneath; so no real advantage when going for aggressive fitment. I guess you could always roll very aggressively behind them but the rears are double skinned so it's going to mean cutting metal to get anywhere serious.
  21. If you are using the stock Whiteline links; it's definitely a good idea; but if you go to the H/D Whiteline links, the misalignment is well within their ability to cope. And even then; they have enough thread length to accommodate a spacer on the bottom end.
  22. I threw this into the Über NM35 thread for ya mate!
  23. From Scotty's post in another thread; M35 filter: 16400-4M405 Both look identical, and both have 0.1mm larger outlet holes than the stock one I removed. I will suggest everyone replace the outlet Oring (P/N: 17049-4M400) when changing the filter,
