  1. Well done on organising this Ricky! I'm out; this is the due date of my daughter to be, so I don't want to commit & then have to back out. This will be a cracking good night!
  2. As Alex says; just stick with the Matic J. It's about $50 per 4lt; good to go.
  3. I don't know if you can even get Matic S from Nissan Aus; last time I asked, I got a blank stare. Any reason why you wouldn't use Matic J? If you're after a full Synthetic Nissan suitable ATF; Nulon Full Synth is excellent. Many NM35 Stagea guys have been using it for extended periods without any issues, and on high powered cars.
  4. That first one is awesome; soooo close to wheels up!
  5. Could be a reset for a peak hold function?
  6. Not being a smartarse, & I'm sure you've got it sussed, but the rookie error I've seen a few people make is having the calipers on the wrong side, with bleed nipples facing down. All good in your case?
  7. I was at a workshop recently, and noticed that they had 3 Stagea instrument clusters on a bench; What could be the possible reason for having that many clusters? I've never seen, or heard of one failing. Perhaps they were changing the globes? Yes, I'm sure that's it.
  8. Is the pedal sinking to the floor? Have you actually road tested; the amount of pressure that you are applying may well be in excess of what it takes to lock the brakes in normal running. As Sinista32 says; booster makes the pedal softer when engine is running, perfectly normal.
  9. Maybe; but demanding a tonne of taxpayers money to fund a private company is pretty arrogant.
  10. Look, I think NO is always the standard first response from these 3rd party warranty suppliers. It's always worth fighting! If their initial response is NO; what's the worst that could happen? Good to hear you stuck to your guns & got what you paid for.
  11. This is a disappointing but sadly, not uncommon occurrence. While ever there's an opportunity to make a quick buck; there will always be people ready and willing to fleece the uninformed. Good on you for doing the detective work; hopefully people will arm themselves with this information, and only choose to deal with a reputable importer or dealer, that has nothing to hide. This just highlights the need to support guys like Iron Chef; who clearly have scruples and a conscience, and supply only the best cars; regardless of what type of vehicle customers are looking for.
  12. Spotted a Blue PNM 35 yesterday arvo, about 5pm; on my way through Silverdale.
  13. I'm not getting my car dirty for some steenkin' backpackers.
  14. You don't carry dead people into the forest; refer Protip #2.
  15. Protip #1; 2 wriggling bodies on your car roof is not "hidden" Protip #2; Dead backpackers don't carry themselves into the forest. Protip #3; Backseat is for your change of clothes. You'll need them.
  16. #Noroomforbackpackers
  17. Best of both worlds my arse! 'Sif can fit 4 backpacker in the boot, & still keep them fresh enough to walk themselves into the forest. Amateur.
  18. 101; Be awesome.
  19. I'd be guessing spring rates would be the big difference.
  20. Happy days Mark, it's all coming together!
  21. Tonnes more room; no strut to contend with for starters. You'd still want a spacer to get the offset right though.
  22. Solid effort from the fridge!
  23. Interedasting; I stand corrected. If the Sumitomos don't fit with the AXIS rims; I'd almost guarantee the Brembo's won't, as the disc offset on the 350Z Brembo puts the rotor face (and therefore the caliper) closer to the wheel mounting face by about 5mm. With the Brembo being a larger caliper than the Sumi; any clearance will be even smaller.
  24. I don't think so actually, the internal spoke profile of the AXIS rim is quite deep, you might get away with it.
