    $800 sounds pretty damn cheap! The one I'm looking at isn't quite as big (600x276x76 I think) but comes with the full piping and pretty much everything I'll need. Its a Trust V-SPL. Should be able to get it on the car for around $1200-$1300... does that sound reasonable to anyone?? I thought it was considering that UAS want more than $2K HKS coola... plus installation!!

    You might be able to move the battery to fit the sub behind the seats but there really isnt much room at all. A 10" will fit without too much trouble. I've just got a pre-fab box in the boot with 2 10s. Couldn't be stuffed with the whole install thing in the end. Also I get to keep the boot space!

    I went to Welcome 2000 and 2002. 2000 was the better one... mainly because of CJ boland! That guy can make a crowd move! This year I'm going camping in yarra wonga for something different. The idea of being mashed in the bush seems to appeal for some reason.

    I saw JETR34 (yellow 34) on springvale road near westall road last week (thats near dingley isnt it??). It had a GTR badge on it but it didnt look like a genuine GTR... it had P plates on it too (wish I had $90K when I was 20!)

    They were gonna bring it in with those new laws a few weeks ago but are still apparently reviewing it. It would mean that P platers could not get 5 points in any 12 month period as well as the standard 12 points in any 3 years.

    I'll second that! The speaker cones are made out of some cheap, cheap plastic. That red colour even looks shit! Judging your equipment, you should have a pretty decent sound once its set up.

    I realise "the cooler the air, the better" is true. But how much more power can you really expect from a 0-10 deg difference in intake temp??

    It don't make a lot of sense to me. If the coola is big enough, it shouldn't matter what temp air is going into it, by the time it gets out of the intercooler it should be around 20-30 deg anyway.... right??:confused: I think what I'm trying to say is that a cold air intake will only reduce the load off the coola, which isn't gonna produce a real power gain...
