  4. hey dude. you said your going to be using the q45 afm right. i just sold one that i was going to use on my r33 cause i got told there hard as hell to tune and got told to use the z32 afm instaed. how do you find the q45 compared to the z32. cheers
  5. how hard is it to change over to a s3 front end onto a s2 r31 whats needed to do this and whats involed. cheers
  6. responce is every thing in my book anything over and around 200rwkw is good as but its all setup dude you need suspention setup to match power and driver skill. my r33 only makes 190 rwkw with a few suspetion mods and its great to drift need a few more suspention mods before i go any further with power
  7. hey mate i had this problem with my r33 rb25det. found out my feul pump was f@?$ed even though it still ran. put it on the dyno dude it will tell ya strait away spend $100 on dyno tune and that will tell ya everything mate. let me know how ya go eh.
  8. easy as mate for starters your airflow meter will have a pink sticker on it if its a s2 and s1 engine has a igniter module thats a box looking thing that is located at the end of your rocker covers and s1 i think has a green sicker on the afm. i have a 1993 r33 s1 with a 96 s2 engine so hope this helps. cheers
  9. nice drifting with that setup dude. have u used an lsd for drifting how do u find the locker drifting. do u spin out much or not. and how come the soft coilovers i would have thought the harder the beter.

  12. i ownly have 180 rwkw in my r33 still in street form and it slides sweet as but must admit as well that angles are a tad harder to pull off but that being said its still not hard to slide at all infact very easy to control. and each suspention mod i makes me push the car harder and harder cause it makes feel more in control and all i have is pinaples caster pillow joint rods and i ownly have lowered springs and shocks. cant wait to fit coilovers. so with a full suspention set up dude. the r33 would be a peace off piss to drift. plus with the strong as nails drive line conponents u can drive em like u stole it without shit braking. great car man i dont regret buying one at all
  13. thanks heaps for the feed back guys i have owned one of these back in the day but didnt do much or any sliding with it. i drive an r33 now and slides well but for some reson thought it might be a good idea to build a drift pig track only car i can distroy tyres with. on the subject at hand where is the best place to start looking for one ,i want the cheapest r31 s2 around. any tips on where to start looking. also any specs on cams aproval what do i need to do to get it right for the track. cheers
  14. hey dude i own a black r33 gtst and now have done a few mods to em. in stock form there about 150kw at the wheels. i have now done 3 1/2 zorst apexi safc2 pod tomei exhaust ajustable cam gear with exhaust cam offset 5 deg. removed vvt and a few other mods and on stock boost and a sliping like hell clutch (witch should have been my first upgrade cause now cant use the power) i made 185 rwkw with 675nm tourqe witch with stock boost and turbo i was very happy with. hope that helps
  15. hey guys im thinking of building an r31 slider but a few on hear say there shit to drift. is this true? is it worth me doing one or not. does anyone slide one off these and can anyone compare with another car they have sliden. if they are good whats the best few uprades to get em to hold slides. cheers
  16. hey guys im wanting to get into the slidding scene and was going to do a budget r31 slidder. But a few of u have said that the r31 is no good to drift. one is this tru and second. where is the best place to start looking for a shell or whole car just for track use. i cant find em any where. is there a side on the webb i should know about or if any one knows where i can get a shell (and but saying shell i mean rolling shell not one up to the axles) cause i want to build one my self ya know and now have some spare time to do so i already own an r33 as my daily driver so im maybe after an r32, 180sx or s14 200sx. or if anyone should tell me the r31 is good to drift one of those let me know. cheers
  17. hey mate thanks for the info. do u know of any cheep race only cars or where is it best to look for em. thanks
