  1. That's a pretty sweet ride Gojira, tough looking. Love the BBS rims too, wish I could afford a set of those, even if they were second hand in half decent condition.

  3. I second Costa and DriftShop. I bought an SR20DET exhaust manifold from him and excellent product and service.
  4. nice, always like the Zenki S14s, after all I drive one!
  5. Any more info/pics of that S!4?
  6. It's not too hard to install once you know whats happening? I fought with it for a week, but when I simplified it it worked fantastically. With the instructions you got you can see the which connection should go to your wastegate actuator (the connection at a right angle to the controller screw). The hose that you need to run to it is the one coming from the turbo, look for the round bronze looking can-like item on the turbo, this is the wastegate actuator. Undo the connection, it's probably at a T piece which goes to the boost solenoid (that's where it was on my 200SX anyway). Then hook it up to the connection on the boost controller and use the hose clamp to hold it in place. Then find (probably at the t piece) the hose that runs back to your intercooler piping. Hook this up to the connection that's in line with the controlling screw. Again use the hose clamp to secure it. You will probably have a hose left over that was connected to the solenoid again, just block it off with a bolt that fits the hole and put the hose clamp over it so it wont come loose. Then you will be right. As it says in the instructions the controlling screw should already be set at minimum boost (pretty much completely wound out). To increase the boost level just loosen off the lock nut and wind the screw in in small increments. lock down the nut again and test. Wind in or unwind the screw until you find the boost level you are happy with. Hopefully this makes some sense. If you are still having problems check out the link below. There's quite a few pages on this controller there. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...ead.php?t=73375
  7. Well I finally got it working, just simplified it like a few others and removed the t piece and bov hose and blocked the small hose going to the inlet, works great now, running 0.8 bar nicely and going hard. Great stuff especially for $30-40. A friend asked me how much it was and when I told him he couldn't beleive it!
  8. Yep that was me posting on there too. RH9
  9. Spotted RH9 tonight outside Babars in Woden. Mmmmmmmmmm I drooled so much my gf was getting worried! Is this perhaps the purple R34 GT-R that people have been spotting lately?

    I lost my job!

That sucks Rezz but at least I guess you were thinking of getting out soon. Good luck. You will now need to pass on the mantle of reporting all things from J Land to a new and worthy successor!
  11. Yeah I figured may be the spring or something, the housing is pretty basic and would be hard for anything to go wrong with that. That's why I'm trying to find someone with a basic bleed valve so I can test out my install. It's just frustrating being that so many people have commented that my install looks correct, and the fact that i'm having troubles getting in contact with Mark to ask some questions regarding the unit and what could go wrong with it. If anyone reading this is in Canberra and has a bleed valve I could borrow for a short time to test that would be great.
  12. Does anyone have a basic bleed valve that I could borrow to test out if I've got all the hoses correctly set up? Any help would be much appreciated, It would probably only take 5 minutes to hook up and I'd take the car for a spin and see what happens. If it works properly I know the controller I have is faulty. Maybe just do this at the museum on Friday night when everyone meets up or something. Thanks guys!
  13. Checked everything and even set up the controller so it was up the right way to make sure that the spring and ball bearing weren't getting caught up anywhere and still no difference. I get 1.2 bar whether the controller screw is barely even wound in, being heldin place by the locking nut, or if I wind it in a bit too. Hoses are all connected properly and doesn't appear to be any leaks. I'm at a loss now, a few people have looked at it and my installation seems fine. I'm still trying to track down a bleed valve to see if it works correctly with my install. I've emailed Mark for advice on whether or not it might be a faulty unit and have heard nothing from him. Does anyone have a number for him or anything? I just want to get this sorted out.
  14. So can anyone see if I've gone wrong anywhere? Should I perhaps try and get the controller set up so the screw mechanism is sitting upright so the ball bearing doesn't run the risk of getting stuck? I've emailed Mark but have not heard from him?
  15. I've had another look today, does this look correct? I think I've got everything correct. I'll see if I can find someone with a basic bleed valve to borrow.
  16. I haven't got a normal bleeder valve, it has been running with the stock solenoid until yesterday arvo. Maybe there is something faulty with the unit. I'll email mark and see what he can do with it.
  17. Hey Thunderbolt, is yours on an SR20 too? Here's a pic with the things listed on the instructions from Mark. I hope it helps. Basically all the hoses that were connected on the solenoid are hooked up here in some fashion. I'm guessing the two hoses on the T Piece are going towards the BOV and turbo. I notice in yours you just seem to be plumbing to your wastegate, and in to the turbo. If I were to block the other pipes (I'm runnig a stock 200sx BOV for now though) and just do a similar setup would that work ok? Thanks for your help.
  18. The instructions show to plumb the wastegate actuator to the t section just below the controller screw, and the bottom section runs to a T section which goes to engine and blow off valve. As far as I can see I have done this with the remaining hoses that run to the bov, engine and one of them also plumbs to the induction pipe that the air box connects too.
  19. I recevied one of these controllers in the mail yesterday after purchasing one off Mark through EBay. I'm having problems though. My S14 200sx was running 0.6 bar stock, it has a Blitz Power Induction air box and Stainless steel tuned length manifold as the only real performance mods. I've installed the TurboTech boost controller and with the controlling screw pretty much only being held on with the lock nut is hitting 1.2 bar max boost. I'm really worried that I may have already done some damage somewhere. I read that with the screw pretty much wound out you should make slightly over your stock boost. I was wanting to achieve 0.8 bar to be safe. Can anyone see if I've gone wrong somewhere with the installation? Any help from Mark (TurboTech) or anyone else is greatly appreciated. I definitely holds boost, just too high for my application. Thanks Stephen
  20. They are the stock ones that were on the car originally. What sort do you think would be better, pics?
  21. I bought one of the Turbotech manual boost controllers off EBay after reading the great reviews on it on the SAU boards. I installed it today and it seems regardless of how far out I wind the controll (wound out = less boost, wound in = more boost). I keeps on hitting around 1.2 bar boost (I've taken my foot off when it gets around here. Can anyone see what I've done wrong in the pic? Any help is greatly appreciated. I just want it sitting around 0.8 bar for the moment. I'll be out tonight at the museum so if anyone sees this and feel like heading out if they know a solution it would be greatly appreciated.
  22. Thanks for the pics of the S14 with the RB26 - very nice to see under the bonnet.
  23. I've come across the odd Falcon driver, and Magna once or twice. Doesn't matter what age they are, they are just threatened by tough Japanese turbocharged performance cars. It's quite sad and I get really sick of it.
  24. That's great! When is that going to happen in Australia do you think??
  25. I'm looking at buying a house around this time next year so if you're up for it I'll be talking to you then.
