Well I'm not going in to whether I think Schapelle is guilty or not, as there has not been enough evidence either way to come up with a decent conclusion. The dude who's doing two years for being accused of being the Bali Bombing Mastermind is just that - accused. That's why he's only doing two years and the others are getting the death penalty. They haven't been able to prove completely that he was the mastermind yet. I'd say he's doing the two years so they can hold him somewhere secure in the hope they can gather enough evidence to properly convit him.

the light poles are designed to fall over if they are hit. Do less damage that way with regard to passengers I think. It also disconnects from the power source too. I know I hit one many a year ago.

Not trying to put anyone off, but driving back from Sydney a month ago, driving past that skydiving place just outside of Sydney on the highway there were a heap of peeps doing the drop. The scary thing was we saw one person whose 'chute wouldn't open properly really close to the highway. They swung over to the side and landed just out of view, but they hit the ground pretty hard. Chute never opened properly.

IMO if someones stupid enough to be drink driving, and doing burnouts on the street, etc they deserve to get the book thrown at them, and anything else that's coming their way. These are the ****ers that make the rest of us look bad. And we are the ones that cop the brunt of it.

**** that sucks Nik. can't stand people who run away instead of accept the repercussions of their actions. If only you can find out who it was and then at least the police can sort them out and you can give them the bill.

As far as I can remember in the ACT you are allowed to run a wheel 2 inches bigger than the biggest standard wheel available on your car as long as you use a profile on the tyres that keeps it pretty much in line with the original overall rolling diameter. Anything else would need to be engineered. You should be right unless they want to be asses when you take your car over.

Chasers come with the 1JZ GTE don't they? That's the same engine as the twin turbo soarers. I'd say a few of those have been worked on, so it really shouldn't be a problem to find someone competent enough to tune it.
