  1. from my post on 350z tech: finally got around to installing my thermo spacer kit yesterday quick check all good and took for a moderate drive...maybe a little crisper/strong through the rev range, but nothing earth shattering. Got home tonight and re-did the ECU tricks: 1. throttle valve closed reset 2. Accel pedal released learning 3. idle air volume 4. reset ECU (2x last night did not get the timing right, but the check engine doing it fast --> slow flash wiping memory clean tonight. Car was hot from a 25km commute home, so this time I though gotta try WOT - afterall that's when the short-comings of the old plennum would've been apparent. Wowwee! different car now with my twin 60mm S/S exhaust + 5/16 Thermo plennum spacer kit. Above 5k rpm WOT I sang 'turbo' as it came on song. What hoot, very worthwhile for $280 and 3 hrs careful install. Not a thing out of place with the kit - other than I added couple more washers myself and used 6 of them for the strut brace bolts as the included bolts do not have integrated washers like the OEM bolts.
  2. yah - it needs to shed emulating uktg - all it will ever be is a poor cousin BUT with the dearth of motorshows on my free-to-air tv I religiously DVR it and scan through ea week. What do want, a return to Peter Wherrit car reviews? ha I doubt anyone here would've seen him live to air on those shows. What was the short-lived series on ch9 - car torque?
  3. by comparison I got 126rwkw on a stock non-IC fj20et @ 10psi, due to running a fuel only Haltech tuner preferred to leave mine quite rich at the top end something like 10:1 air/fuel since he said we're not quite sure what the ignition timing is doing relying on the oem dissy.
  4. I think it would look awesome without the cluttered background - I guess going for the wasteland/abandoned look but I just see that car dominating a cityscape way in the background or an empty space.
  5. That is freakin awesome Mark - thanks heaps for the leg work! Gotta get my post count up to enable PM..I usually reside @ Z Tech
  6. bah! - I shelled out big bux for a schmick 46" Bravia and PS3 in anticipation of a full release one day. One day alright...2 years and counting. Gotta resist picking up a an 360 for Forza3 but it will be hard!
  7. also I read on the skink site that on 350z the strut tower brace must be removed - so it may only come in the larger 1/2" size. As much as the increased capacity/torque would be nice...no way do I want compromise car handling by removing my strut brace.
  8. Definitely interested - saw your heads up on Z-tech. I'm in Canberra tho' sure we can work something out. Mark
  9. Not mine (I drive the Z which hits Wakefield for the circuitclub.com day soon) but I think there's 2x GTS, 1x GTR = three different cars, but I just collated some better Skyline snaps.
  10. Shot at the weekend's MG Car club motorkhana at the Sutton rd. driver training centre, ACT More from the day here
  11. I saw the event publicised on these forums and went out for a looksee. Few photos posted here, still sorting - I got a little trigger happy with the continuous shutter...1600+ for the day
