Just bought a ALCO calcium 400 CCAbattery and installed it. Needed to fiddle around with the terminal leads a bit but got there in the end. What CCA size battery are you guys using?

Anyone know what battery fits a R33 GTR? Bought a century one from supercheap but the terminals from the car don't reach the terminal points on the battery....

What royal purple oil are you guys using?

I need some advice on which oil to use for my R33 GTR. The car is stock standard apart from the exhaust and I currently use Motul 8100 X-Cess 5w40. http://www.motul.com/nz/en/products/52 It costs $100 NZD here for 5L of X-Cess. I was wondering if the Royal Purple HPS 10w40 http://royalpurple.com/motor-oil-hps.html would be a good alternative instead of the Motul because I could get 5L for $60 NZD rather then $100 NZD for the Motul oil.

What's that object you used for a spacer??

I have a Series 1 R33 GTR and was wondering if the Series 1 GTS-T headlights will fit on my car. I went to the wreckers and found a GTS-T one with the same headlight code 1493 as my GTR one. I searched on multiple GTR forums and some say they fit fine but I'll need to change the headlight bracket , others say they don't fit... Can anyone confirm if they fit fine and will I need to change anything in order for it to fit?

Can anyone tell me how to remove the front bumper on a R33 GTR?

Is the series 1 ECR33 front support bar the same as a series 1 BCNR33?

I crashed my R33 GTR today and the front bumper support bar (or what ever it's called) is bent. I tried to source another one from wreckers but the ones I went to only have non GTR ones which are white and smaller then the GTR one. Here is a picture of my damaged one: Anyone know if the non GTR front support bar will be compatible with a standard R33 GTR front bumper?

I can't find any grommets in the engine bay arghhhhhhh! It's doing my head in!

Argh I a can't find it! Can someone post some pics of where they ran the vacuum hose through?

I installed a boost gauge on my R33 GTR but couldn't find any grommet holes in the firewall to run the vacuum hose through so I did a quick job by putting it through the side fender and now the gauge is not working because the hose is squashed. Can anyone tell me where to run the hose through the drivers side? The gauge is mounted onto the right air vent and the hose is squashed due to me trying to hide it under the trimming.

I have a standard R33 GTR and recently installed a Apexi catbat + decat pipe (legal in NZ). Initially the car felt more responsive and had more power when I installed the exhaust but I noticed that there was a stuttering problem around 5000rpm +. I went for a drive yesterday and the car feels like worse and sometimes almost stalls. It feels like it's running out of gas and sometimes the revs drop right down whilst driving. Anyone have any ideas on what might be wrong?

NZD to USD is at the highest it's been in 3 years now. I've seen alot of forum members showing dyno charts with the 7s and 9s and they only get around 280rwkw... I say go with the 5s + you can get them cheaper????

I removed my old worn series 1 R33 GTR steering wheel from my car and replaced it with one which is not worn (another R33 GTR series 1 wheel) but I can't get it to fit properly. The right side of the steering wheel sticks out a little and I've tried everything I can to align it properly but it just won't go in... Anyone got any ideas?

Might do a DIY job on it as I scraped it yesterday. Bog up the scrape damage, sand, primer whole lip and paint it matt black. I've never done this before lol. Can someone tell me exactly what to do and what I need (e.g what sandpaper grit should I use?)

So I'll need to sand, primer then paint?
