Hey long story short thread on rb25 block for oil feed has a bit of a munted thread and i need a 12x1.0 thread tap and dye for the block and the old banjo bolt. I've tried coventry fasteners, gasweld, total tools and bunnings but no ones got them. If anyones got any reccomendation or could even lend me these two things that'd be great as its the only thing stopping me from getting my car tuned and its killing me. Cheers, Chris

Hey guys Basically while me and my brother were installing the new 3071r in my rb25 r33 we found that the thread on the oil feed to the block has been damaged and needs a retap. Its only a small amount of damage so it doesnt need to be drilled out i just need to know the thread size diameter i should be using to tap the oil feed? If anyone with an rb25det workshop manual can help out that would be great. Cheers, Chris

Just a thought if you packed it with steel wool then run a line into your intake wouldn't the turbo suck small amounts of steel wool into th blades? Or have I missed something cheers, Chris

Hey this might sound like a stupid question but i just bought a pretty much brand new 3071r kit (lines, spacer and all that jazz)and itcame with quite a few copper washes. anyone have any ideas where these are supposed fit between? Would there be any real noticeable disadvantages in running the 2.75' inlet as opposed to the 4"? I have had a good read through and unless ive missed it theres not much mentioned about it. Btw this is for a gt3071r IW .82rear on an rb25det looking for 270ishkw Cheers, Chris

problem solved. boost controller wasnt wired up properly and wasnt running on a 12v line.

I've sussed the manual and theres nothing that says anything like whats going on. I cant actually turn it off or do any changes as all it does is beep and flash red :S

Gday just installed a greddy profec b 2 on my r33 s1 today and as soon as i start her up the boost controller doesnt show up anything except flashes red and beeps continuosly. ive checked over and over the diagrams for setting it up but nothing is fixing it. ive got the line from the B.C. running to a tee in the FPR line and 1 vacuum line running to solenoid and the other running to the actuator. If anyones got any ideas that'd be great. Cheers, Chris
