  7. I need this black sensor box. Its located in the boot next to the boot latch. I think it has something to do with the auto headlights. I had to bypass this box for now to get my tail lights to work.

  9. swapping the whole engine dude....
  10. So this is what happened when you removed the whole system?????
  11. How did it go? I Already have FMIC, exhaust, CAI, new nissan coils Blitz DSEBC, I blew the head in my old rb25 and I am in the midst of swapping it out for a neo. The engine bay is empty atmo and I thought I would take the opportunity to do a few things. Whilst searching for some bits and pieces this turbo kit came up and i just could not go past it. I will be building my old 25 with bits like poncams and heaps of other bit and pieces that I already had sitting there waiting to go on it as well as this turbo. But I thought It might be worthwhile bolting it onto the neo for the time being......
  12. Can I run this turbo with standard ecu? Also what is a good price for one of these kits?
  13. where are you located exactly?
  14. Sorry to revive an old thread! I have just removed all the hicas system from my cefiro. I plan to use one of the hicas eliminator kits available on the web and I plan to plug up the holes left in the steering rack with bolts and the leftover lines going to and from the power steering pump and reservoir will plumb into a power steering cooler. Will I have any problems in doing any of this? i.e heavy steering?
  15. I still have: 3 Sets r32 r33 rb20 rb25 s1 and rb26 2 sets r33 s2 and r34 rb26 $450 or $470 posted anywhere in Aus I have no NEO coils left however I will be trying to source more. Keep an eye on this thread for updates!
  16. As far as the head goes it will be given to a shop for reco and have the face shaved and slightly thicker head gasket will be used. If i can get away with leaving the bottom end i will but if not I will rebuild it. I have a R34 neo sitting around so I may have to swap it in... I didn't want to because of having to re-wire...
  17. ^The topic is about my blown head gasket and what I need to do to clean the engine..^ All right so what i am getting from all this is I should flush my engine with diesel....I have never done this so I don't know if it really works or wrecks things but thinking logically I really don't know why anyone in their right mind would do this..... And this is the first time I have ever heard of anyone doing this.... However if it works for people who believe in this method than each to their own, but i personally don't like the idea. From what I have learnt over the years engine flushing should be done with proper brand name engine flush oil additive from Martini or something and should only be done on brand new engines to avoid any build-up of shit throughout the engines life. I asked the question hoping that someone who builds these engines could give me a straight and logical answer. As far as I can see, after I remove the head I will need to check the bores for rust and remove the oil pan to check the condition of the bottom end. If there is any rust present and/or the whole engine is contaminated with water/oil sludge then it will have to be stripped down, cleaned and reassembled. Right? And if you people are going to argue, please f..k off and do it somewhere else. A mature discussion would be preferential. Yes we don't all agree with each other but we don't need to degenerate ourselves to bickering, name calling children.
  18. anyone else wanna weigh in on this topic?
  19. hmmm thats what i am afraid of I havn't pulled the head off yet....
  20. anyone done anything like this?
  21. So I have an rb25det with blown head gasket and has been sitting for a while and is still in the car. I am about to pull the head off and do the job but is it possible for me to "flush" the engine in order to get rid of the oil milkshake that is all through the bottom end????
