i tried rabbit once, had some funky textured skin, was done in a stew. would never order that again, snakes, and crocs and frogs are great though, neutral flavour. but pythons can be a little stringy, monitor lizard is alright too, had some soup made from that. wild duck's alright. not stinky like roo or lamb. so if i were to try dog/cat, it'd only be to find out how it tastes, that's all. not a huge gastronome when it comes to obscure exotic meats.

on a dare maybe, but i dont even take lamb, i'm really really averse to gamey tasting meats, tried kanga once, and never again.

there's lots of japanese cuisine. it really depends on what you want to have. for sushi though, you can't go past suzuran @ camberwell, although they're takeaway only. And then there are the izakaya sake bar style places where its kinda like a japanese style tapas place, and for that, i recommend maedaya. And there's teppanyaki, which is pretty much a scam (LOL), i used to be a teppanyaki chef @ fuji teppanyaki, and tbh, dont go there, or any other teppanyaki restaurant for that matter. And for hot food, you could try ash's recommendation, in fact, i will eventually go there to check it out, but i'm in no hurry.

hmm worth a try one of these days. then again, looking at the menu, i'm suddenly not interested anymore. LOL.

and so i got pulled over the other day (just a whinge) got fined for my sister and mom not putting on their seatbelts. 1. 282 + 3 points for me, because i did not ensure they put on their seat belts. but, how's not ensuring my passengers are wearing their seatbelts as dangerous as beating a red light? 2. 282 for my mom and my sis each, for not putting on their seat belts, and i'd think, them being tourists and all, they'd be let off with a warning. so cop must have been feeling real proud of himself, 282 x 3 for his government.
