  1. I've seen some nice examples of the s13s around, SOME, but most of them look like shit. Then again, the excel doesn't look any better IMO, so i 2nd going silvia, you save more money in the long run, and when you upgrade, just sell the silvia off cheap.
  2. Oh well, will use canterbury or something then. Thanks.
  3. Thank you! Btw, which section?
  4. That couple on that scooter almost died.
  5. Frankly, i know shit about cars, i just drive them, and send them to a mech if something goes wrong. But generally they're pretty reliable, the RB/SR engines. Read around on the forum, under the turbo/nonturbo sections and you should learn way more. Check out the vic section too.
  6. When i was 18, i was riding bicycles.
  7. Is UOM university of melbourne? If thats the case, you're pretty close to rmit. What do you need to know about eh? Be patient when looking for your car, drive many, and don't convert your singaporean license to the victorian one, you can drive fine with our singaporean license. Check out carsales.com.au
  8. Nicely done! i'm singaporean here, and if you do need any help settling in, do give me a buzz, i'm studying at RMIT What car are you planning to get?
  9. It sorta grows on you, yeah it is a box. But its not too bad now, unique i'd say.
  10. he's watching...
  11. turbo = not p plate legal, unless its a diesel and under the power/weight limits.. if i'm not wrong.
  12. Well, the supra is a tad heavy, but it no doubt handles perfectly. I bought the supra for its looks + 2JZ reliability/power and of course, i've always wanted either a skyline or a supra since i was what, 16 i think. So when it was finally time to take the plunge, i just got the supra.
  13. Lol dude, i was actually asking for pix of kris' cube.
  14. go down, look at the car then decide, pictures can always be shopped... It looks in pretty good nick though
  15. http://www.supraforums.com.au/forum/showthread.php?t=4680 Check out that thread from supraforums. Basically the same stuff you look out for when you go shopping for the car. And ask to see ALL the papers that came with it from Japan.
  16. Lol, vvti doesn't save you much on fuel, but you do get a little bit more power.. + 10hp at the flywheel perhaps?
  17. I see, i'm sorry if i had offended you.
  18. Dont look at the price first, that can always be negotiated, just go look at the car, if you like it, then talk about the price. The price can always be knocked down slightly, but 14k is pretty cheap for such a new car. As mentioned many times on the forum, kilometers don't matter, look at the overall condition of the car. It might be a 97 s2, but if its trashed, its gonna be crap. Just take it for a test drive, if its in good nick, 14 isn't all that bad, but ask for a discount anyway. Care to show the ad?
  19. Where are you located? I could let you try out my supra if you're in melbourne. This is to change your prejudice against the supra, the rwd offerings from nissan and toyota are all pretty good.
