  1. is it that cheap? how big for something costing 5 -6k?
  2. St Kilda's? I reckon where there's structures, they're there.. I'm more interested in whiting though, float fishing doesn't appeal to me that much, unless its for trout.
  3. gotta check it out then...
  4. 42? thats eat in price yeah? i've never eaten there, always takeaway.
  5. Today's session around the mornington area. Got 3 squid within an hour, then suddenly there were too many boats, so i packed up and went home.. They're nicely sized, so get to have some salt and pepper squid for the next few days.
  6. rock kung costs $23/duck but thats takeaway. and $52 is kinda expensive don't you think? i usually buy from pacific house @ richmond
  7. sounds like a fiat punto i drove..
  8. Yes, i've finally got cranks. A good friend of mine sent over another pair of XT hollowtech cranks for me to use for the time being, i've tightened the bolts to the max, i dont have a torque wrench, so i wouldn't know whats 12Nm. So i reckon my arms should have enough torque. I just hope it won't loosen like the previous cranks did. Finally i can ride.
  9. $146 ain't a huge sum to pay, but the points.. ooooh.. then again, i have better things to do with $146, but i'm sure you've seen the thread about them clamping the cars of people who don't pay up. So, you'd better pay. But i'm sure if it was a speed camera, they snap the picture, and the fine goes straight to the registered owner of the car, correct me if i'm wrong.
  10. Probably about 8kms to the Liter, or so i've heard. As you can see, i don't own a skyline yet too, i've been saving for half a year and i am still saving. Just be patient i guess.
  11. I'm not sure if they would give an international student a loan, especially to buy a car that's pretty hard to sell off. But think about it, do you really want to be servicing a loan as you study? Are you using your allowance or are you working? If you're working, why not save up for the car? I'm sure you can wait and it is going to be a much sweeter sensation, rather than having to service the loan, then paying for maintenance and whatnot. Its all going to add up.
  12. won't a caravan park be more fully booked?
  13. I dont know about tents, but its gonna be really cold at night, since its by the sea, the drop in temperature around 2am is going to be more pronounced. But fishing, I caught 1 aussie salmon off the apollo bay piers. Cumberland river seems really really good eh?! Then again, maybe camping ain't such a bad idea after all. But the fishing doesn't sound too fantastic, try the saltwater side, i reckon its gonna be more productive than catching tiny rainbow trout.
  14. Lol, again?! Its fattening you know..
  15. surly?
  16. Awesome dinner outing.. Nice getting to know you guys..

  19. Well, some bloke caught a 45cm trout there, and i missed a fish, so nothing much to shout home about. But its a really nice chill place. Good to visit when stressed or nothing better to do.
  20. true. but if i were o head down to the rspca i would get a grown cat... less hassle.
  21. To cast some lures... and to finally get a bite from something thats not from a farm.
  22. it was so annoying, that bitch.. literally.
  23. Oh i saw 4 police cars on my way to lilydale lake this morning. I usually dont see any.. Weird.
  24. Well, i dont mind looking after your dog for that 2 months but.. Does the dog need to sleep in a bed? because previously when we looked after a friend's dog, she wouldn't sleep anywhere but in the bed with us. That, i cannot really stand.
  25. i am tempted, but not yet.. heh, maybe next year or something. hopefully your dad has kittens again.
