  2. what a hassle, i'll just buy a turbo car and chuck it in my garage till i can drive it legally, meanwhile, i'll drive the accord around.
  3. Thats quite true eh. Just to tide over the period when i'm on my P's, then i can actually buy a turbo car legally. Awesome! But, like won't they know that i hold a victoria license since they have my name logged into the system and all?
  4. The system here is pretty damn harsh, in singapore we got 13pts when we're on our P's and then 24 once we're off our P's and our P's only last one year. And having just converted my license, i'm back on my P's, for another 8 months, till August. I never knew how many points can rack up since i've been given conflicting information. So if its 5 points, for a P plater, i have 4 points left. =( Time to take the bicycle and the trains more.
  5. i got 1 point for doing 62 on a 60 road, that was in september, what a way to start the day eh. and it was an unmarked car, early in the morning, as i was heading to boxhill to get some groceries, i just left my home, and i saw this flash and the whole day was just =(
  6. spray paints sound like a good idea now eh..
  7. i dont know how to embed this.. i thought it was quite funny.

  9. blackberry bold ftw! the iphone just looks good eh?
  10. there was one on the way to eildon, near a "Reading" cinema, which K-mart is that? i got my emergency eskie from there.
  11. Thanks for all the suggestions guys! I'm leaning more towards the mornington peninsula ideas, and i'll work on that. And its also nice to know that the burwood k-mart is 24hrs, victoria needs to have more 24hr places.
  12. scary..
  13. Yeah, once again, suggest places to go visit, with awesome scenery, good dinners and stuff. I can even take a flight to Sydney or Brisbane for her birthday. The whole cook for the girlfriend at home with candlelight and all doesn't work anymore since i cook for her all the time, dinner at home isn't special anymore, i've run out of things to cook anyway. Suggestions! I have a budget of say, $500 to burn on this celebration. Not inclusive of airfare if needed, that can be extra. Sigh, i'm asking because i've only been here for like 3 months, so i'm still fairly unfamiliar with the place. This whole thing will take place on the 14th and 15th of November, so i've got time to get things sorted.
  14. There was this old dude who was driving against traffic then going through the red light to get onto the correct lane at the maroondah highway/springvale road junction where the kfc/macs/shell is at. He just didn't seem to care.
  15. Yeah, his grandparents should have beaten him, its the only way of disciplining small kids since they really can't understand discussions yet.
  16. that means i should get a supra when the time comes eh? since skylines get all sorts of nonsense.
  17. future chemical engineering student @ RMIT doing foundation now, despite having a diploma in chemical engineering, knowing first aid, and a lot of other things, i am unable to get a job at safeway.
  18. Lol, i went to the GOR less than 2 months back, so i went to Eildon as planned, fished at the Eildon trout farm, wanted to try out the pondage itself but didn't have the time, we had fun with the non-stop bites. Well, the fish were charged per kg, but it was fun, and now my freezer is full of trout. Will check out Venus Bay the next break!
  19. I was thinking of visiting Sugarloaf Reservoir since it isn't all that far and do some trout fishin as well. And, what are some of the other places i can visit? Not too far i guess, a maximum of 2 to 3 hours drive. We're planning on leaving tomorrow or wed, since these are the only 2 days the weather will be less wet. Thanks guys!
  20. =( Pocket money ain't in yet.
  21. so, can i just go drift in any beat up rwd car dents and all? doesn't need to be registered does it? And i understand i need a CAMS license or something, right?

Spotted a silver/grey skyline at boxhill today, around 5-6pm. Had an SAU sticker, was crossing the road when it passed. Lady driver. Really cool.
  23. Well, it does look pretty nice, i like the look, but its going to be expensive, out of reach for most.
  24. Ah, i've just got back! And i guess i really need a surfboard here in Australia. It looked so fun, i went past some places with some people surfing and it looked awesome, i should try it when summer comes around. And i loved the drive there, wild dog road is awesome, was scary because you dont really see roads like that in Singapore. And the drive back on the GOR wasn't half bad. There wasn't many cars hogging the road so it was a smooth journey bad. Not half bad...
  25. Lol, dude, i only know how to windsurf, and i heard surfing is a whole lot of difference, but its winter now, and i'm deathly afraid of the cold. Maybe in summer, i'll go again.
