  1. So far so good, but i keep getting lost around the place. Drivers here are very very polite most of the time and always give way, other than a few black sheep. This evening, had a holden just cut into a small gap between my accord and another car. And one more thing, how do i get to the RMIT city campus from blackburn? Which highways and all? I know how to get there via public transport but occasionally i wanna drive there, its more convenient, albeit expensive. So its just an occasional indulgence.

Hmm, selangor car. Pretty cool, did you by any chance spot this car at Kuala Lumpur?
  3. for the price of the veyron, one can buy a few gt-rs.
  4. spare car parts anyone?
  5. Sealed bearings and cartridge bearings.. whats the diff? And the bearings in the king headset, are sealed yeah?
  6. loose ball hubs are like, shimano hubs?
  7. Like the other day, i saw a police car, sirens and lights blazing, just to catch someone parking illegally. I was amazed. Just opposite the state library.
  8. Is that for refugees? Singaporeans just need to marry an australian or a permanent resident, and tadahh, just need the TB test and be certified free of criminal conviction. Its troublesome, but it can be done in a month.
  9. There are dickheads in every community. Its the lack of screening that allows people into australia. I've seen the permanent residency process, its easy. The business visa way is very easy. And marrying an australian, then the whole family gets PR, its like singapore, a lot of trash comes in.
  10. Discipline has to start from a young age. So even when the kid is all grown up and large, there would still be respect/fear.
  11. Yeah, that was just a thought. CRC does free shipping for purchases over GBP$400. They're pretty cool, i've ordered from them. And their stuff are pretty competitively priced. Like how the RS Reba costs $899 here but on CRC, its sub $600 after conversion to AUD. If i tack on some other random stuff, which i don't really need, i probably can get the free shipping. Back in singapore we used to do mass orders since singapore was so small, one end to the other takes an hour or less. And i reckon its hard to beat aspirevelotech's prices for chris king stuff.
  12. In singapore, if you f**k around, no questions asked, you get locked up, 24 hours minimum. And if you try to hit a policeman, you get that baton in your stomach. I think the police here need that taser. I fear the city at night, i'm not caucasian, i'm new here, and i dont speak like the rest of you guys. Maybe i'm paranoid but looking at all these reports, its unnerving.
  13. I should be getting my stuff online from now on, and i can actually post you the rims/hubs and when you're done, you can mail it to me, but its just a thought.
  14. 20cm? Lol.
  15. So, is it over yet? I was thinking of going fishin this weekend.
  16. Yeah, that'd be cool. I'm at blackburn north, springfield road. Is it possible? PM me your rates too, thanks.
  17. No possums? I have a possum problem. Bloody possums. Shitting all over the damn place.
  18. oh well, too bad you are not in Victoria eh? Or are you? I'm still not too familiar with the suburbs. i think i sorta have an idea how to do lacing, but dishing is a bit hard to understand.
  19. I've got no balls to pull anything off without brakes. Back in the day when hucking was so popular, stair gaps blahblah, i could gap decently, but without brakes, i didn't even dare to attempt a 3 stair gap. I reckon i should start to learn to build wheels because workmanship here is so expensive. In singapore, $55 can build a wheel with spokes. Over here, whats the rate? 75/wheel without spokes?
  20. *shrug* i think fixies are cool to build, old track frame, old fork, old parts. Its because of the current fad that has brought fixies to my attention actually. I love building up bikes, i do everything myself other than the wheel build. But i just like assembling them. I had 4 bikes and i only rode 1. Ended up selling the rest off. And i used to go brakeless on my pinscher. But i had no balls to wheelie/manual without the brakes, so i put them back on. But it sucks not having an option.
  21. So, i legally have to have 1 brake. So i cannot ever decide to go brakeless here. What about the fixies? Its cool to have no brakes on a fixie.
  22. Seriously? Anywhere i can check out the cycling laws in Victoria? And helmet too? I need a helmet don't i?
  23. Was it? I didn't mean it that way. And yes, finally my bike is ready to ride. But now i feel that a 26/17 ratio is a little too light.

Spotted, 1 white skyline, at the Macs near Glen Waverly, like just opposite the shopping centre. Can't be sure if its a 33 or 32. Just caught a glimpse. And spotted a grey 33 at Glen Waverly, outside Rock Kung, plate spelled DEADLY or something like that.
  25. Apparently, these incidents happen a lot, and vandals are hard to trace. Do alarms work?
