  8. i'm sure allah loves me. or wants to behead me, really i can't tell the difference anymore.
  9. yeh make your own steak ayayron. cape grim premium porterhouse when i can be f**ked going to the butcher.
  10. I have 15 sets of chopsticks, i only use 2 sets. the same two sets day after day. Washed of course. And i've never really understood using the dishwasher, if you're eating for one, its quite difficult to generate enough dishes to fill up the dishwasher, and while you're waiting for the dishwasher to fill, the food bits start going bad, in the slightly warmer dishwasher, and that's probably not the best thing to happen.
  11. probably in about a decade. but yeah, the biggest hurdle, to be honest, is landing a good job in the first place, once you're in, you're probably set. and i put a lot of effort into work, but not as much effort when it comes to studies. Results show that effort, but employers always have good things to say, though its all hospitality, waitering and cook and stuff, so really irrelevant. Am trying to get into my metallurgy lecturer's good books at the moment, so he'll be a reference for my resume, having one of the top metallurgical profs as my reference should do wonders.
  12. by 9 knives? did you mean steak knives? or like kitchen cutting knives? Why would you need steak knives on a regular basis? and why would you need 9 different kitchen knives? (i only have 6)
  13. mate makes 100k as a fresh grad, but i'm not as elite as he is.
  14. Sir yes sir, Got to get on that shiz then.
  15. complaining takes 15s. which coincides with me looking at the reference journals anyway.
  16. settle down mr chef, its beyond your scope.
  17. i'm sure networking through linkedin would get us somewhere too, but yeah, as soon as i finish all these assignments due all at the same time. and a massive control systems test on tuesday, dafuq's fuzzy logic again?
  18. nah, its more like, human curiousity annoys me. and settle down mr chef, every single time, i open my leaching vessel, which is really a 5L ice cream box filled with copper chloride, i get asked the same questions, every single time. 1. what is that? (copper chloride) 2. what does it do? (dissolve copper via electron transfer oxidation) 3. why are you doing it? (to dissolve the copper base metal layer, liberating the gold plate on the gold connection points) 4. you sure it works? (well, that's what i'm trying to find out) its been asked at least 4 times to the point, that i really cant be f**ked doing anything when people are around. which is really why i do not like ignorant business students very much. sif not have at least some high school chemistry knowledge and i also do not like idle banter because conversations with jason is shallow as f**k. but i cant filter acid in my room either, so i'm just letting it settle outside. yes, there's at least 1g of gold flakes sitting around in the front porch.
  19. unfortunately, i've been as demoralised as it gets, so i haven't been applying as much as i should, though really, advice from my research project supervisor is to document my gold extraction, put it into a mini report, and slap that along with my CV. but i'm really cbf about that, housemates are annoying. also, linkedin, yes or no? though, i'm really supposed to apply to technip and santos. mate works at santos, he might be able to do something. but applications have to wait though, gotta finish all these assignments and tests first.
  20. i'm not even planning to go for graduation. from all accounts, its just a pointless waste of time sweltering in a hot and humid hall.
  21. well, all for that piece of paper.
  22. is the cooler a return flow?
  23. i remember doing an environmental module, about bio remediation on oil and pcb contaminated soils, not sure about the mechanics of the whole process as you know how uni modules are, they just scratch the surface and give you a degree at the end of it all, knowing not much more than before enrolment.
  24. a lot more to agriculture than it seems on the surface. soil acidification, and soil salinity is just scratching the surface. interesting....
