hey mate i could come with if needed... as i bought my car with a few problems and knowing them and also ran into a lot of problems, it's not hard to tell if the car is a lemon to also might be worth getting an RAC check as well on the car.. mine was fairly helpful

i've heard of that before... i can possibly call up the dude who took apart my gearbox lol but yeh... i mean i had the option as well as goin well do i fix my gearbox.. or replace it... it came to the 'if i replace it...it could be as rooted as my current one :S' so i fixed it

basically took the car to the shop to get a crunching fixed (was the bearing) and he fixed it (he does cash jobs to) uhm wasn't a recon but he atleast told me the condition of the gearbox which is it's still good (strong gearboxes ) but yeah...1k cash for labour + syncros (2nd and 3rd i had replaced i think it was...) + bearing + thrust bearing my advice is though if you DO see him... ask when he actually NEEDS the car.. cause he had mine for a couple of weeks lol before he got to work on it (he can be very busy) like 10 cars somehow fit into his shop... i dunno how haha good place though great guy

well if you want your gearbox syncros replaced i had a few replaced and my gearbox fixed up (bearing was fked inside it) at perfect transmissions in bibra lake, awesome guy knows his transmissions! him and a friend were the only ones to actually guess RIGHT what was wrong with my car..all other mechanics wouldve cost me 2k+ (due to them going to replace the clutch first...) only cost me 1k total for new syncros and some bearings fixed oh and new thrust bearing just for the sake of it (even though i had a new clutch in anyway)

just installed my blitz bov (with the little air filter thingy) sounds awesome, better than the high pitch ssq sound hehe and better than flutter but yeh, with this bov i can make it so tight it won't open + cause flutter or just let it go PTSHH sounds 1337

I've currently got a Pioneer deck with Alpine speakers/amp/sub setup. Here's a list of what they are Deck: Pioneer DEH-P800BT Fronts: Alpine SPR-17S Type-R 6-1/2" Component 2-Way Speaker Rears: Alpine SPR-17C Type-R 6-1/2" Coaxial 2-Way Speaker Amp: Alpine MRP-M500 Sub: Alpine SWR-1242D Type-R 12" I would suggest you go high quality front speakers, as you want clear music right? Maybe get a 10" sub depending how much doof doof you want hehe.. Rear's aren't a problem like Shiraz said, don't get splits for the rear... complete waste as you listen to the front mainly! There's a few good mono amps around, you can get a 4channel and bridge it... but that's kind of a waste in any case... I just got that amp cause it was kinda shoved in my face at the time (ended up having to swap the sub cause they gave me the wrong sub...) Shop around a bit and ask if any friends work at like JB hifi or something, can get you some good bargains i know i saved hundreds!!!! Hell if you wanted to, just get a good deck, and really really good fronts (get meh rear's) and just tune it correctly, can get you enough bass/good quality sound did for me for ages! haha

I do wish the Government would look to other nations for helpful tips on how to run a country. Seriously. The UK thing with the emissions? That seems fair enough. Goto Europe to get your drivers license? Least you EARN it, it takes fricken forever and costs heaps but at least you know how to drive after it! Really wish they would stop adding stupid laws. Sigh.

Yuh i voted for the first tues (easy to remember and i'll be able to attend every 2nd one hehe) and the 730pm time cause that's just convenient for more people and yeah better show of cars when it's earlier! Some people also have kids to heh..

I think if it was 830pm with 4 stops.. on a weeknight... It will probably be dead by the 4th stop. Lots of people prefer it earlier with a few stops due to having work tomorrow but still wanting to go out for a quick drive and catch up with people socially.

lol it's funny i haven't eaten them since i was in kalgoorlie and used to live off them... and gf bought a few packs and left one for me whilst she's at work hahaha..i know what im having for lunch today :D
