That is a great result for an awesome price. $300 for a finish like that, worth every penny! Also good tips on what products to use for future maintanence. Question, what is a dual action polisher? I just have a super cheap random orbital buffer, is that not good enough? And did you have any issues with water stains on the windows and how were they removed? Cheers, Chris

Can't wait to have my car tuned! I wonder what a difference of say 80-100kw will feel like (car has gt3071r and supporting mods)

Need Help Identifying A Hose
chrisR34GTT replied to chrisR34GTT's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
My thoughts as well but the U shaped pipe next to it is flexible so yeah was a bit confused. Anyway thanks for the input guys, I will just stick with the heater hose and replace when/if I need too. Cheers -
Need Help Identifying A Hose
chrisR34GTT replied to chrisR34GTT's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
Yeah got some free goodyear heater hose for the meantime, but wanted to find a permanent solution without having to get a genuine item. Thanks for the info! -
Thanks for this. Used it to coat my stocko's as an interim to aftermarket items. Might add that this is not noob friendly. Being a noob myself it was a slight nightmare lol. Step 2 has about 20 minor steps to it. Also, the breather pipe has a small nipple underneath it with a hose that connects to the boost sensor near the firewall, I didn't see this and pulled and yanked on the breather pipe to get it off and by doing so ripped the end of the hose off!! Found that removing the strut brace was helpful. Was a good learning point in that I will probably just let a mechanic do it next time lol

Hi guys, just need help in finding a replacement for a hose I split. In the thread attached it is the first hose that is suggested to be removed. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Di...tml&hl=miss Keen to know what it does, and what it is made (really hard and unflexible) so I can get an adequate replacement. Cheers

Curious as to what these are worth second hand? And I have read that the nismo 480cc running around 280rwkw on safe tunes in the power thread. Well I hope that is the case as that's what I have bought to support my GT3071R upgrade -

bump. Photos still coming sorry! -
That is one hella sexy engine bay! As for the heat shield, had the mechanic make some brackets up and attach the stock heat shield to the apron. I am also considering having the dump heat wrapped before summer comes around.

Anyone used an ECUtalk cable to tune with? Also need feedback on who has used the nistune trial version and done a bit of street tuning?

Just did this to my car using all the stock hoses and wiring (just used crimped eyelets to get onto the terminals), but I am soo paranoid that when I start the car it will go kaboom. Am I being stupid or are there things I should double check? Also is it just me or was the black cover an absolute bastard to take off AND put back on for anyone else? -

FOR SALE I am in the process of upgrading the car (R34 GTT coupe) and as such have accumulated parts that I no longer require. Most items were removed from the car at approximately 60,000km. Willing to post out, but I will only get quotes for genuinely interested buyers. 1. Stock R34 Turbo: Perfect upgrade for an RB20, OP6 rear housing, great condition (don't believe there is any shaft play at all and no damage to wheels/housing), does not include actuator. $400 + delivery ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2. 3' JJR S/S bellmouth front/dump: used for approximately 5,000km, good condition just needs a polish around the turbo side if you are that anal lol $150 + delivery ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 3. Stock suspension: replaced with coilovers to get a decent ride height, no leaks. $200 + delivery ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 4. SMIC and Shroud: Upgraded to FMIC, solid stealthy upgrade for R33, should see 250kw. $150 + delivery ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 5. Stock Injectors: still on the car but will be replaced with nismo's as part of upgrade. $50 + delivery ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 6. Stock AFM and plug: still on the car but will be replaced with Z32 as part of upgrade. $50 + delivery ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 7. Stock fuel pump: still on the car but will be replaced with Bosch 040 as part of upgrade. $50 + delivery ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 8. Stock Clutch: does not come with flywheel, not in the best shape, used for a rebuild?? $50 + delivery Will work on getting pictures of parts uploaded over the next couple of days. Pretty sure I read that you can replace the injectors without touching the manifold? DIY section?? -
Dear All, I thought I better let you all know that the state of origin has been moved to the adult channel, Apparently 17 NSW Arseh0les being hammered for 80 minutes is too explicit for free to air! When it rains it pours! QUEENSLANDER!!!!

What is a typical deadweight range for a fiberglass kit? Just trying to get a feel for freight charges I could expect.

Great explanations Trent, found I could actually understand what you were talking about. So thanks for that!

I have Starcorp Impuls on my GTT, they are 18x8.5 fronts & 18x9.5 rears unsure of the offset though. Sit quite flush in the rear but fronts could have sat out a bit more (less offset??). Anyway have a look at Satanics ride to see how they sit on a 34

Do you have any specs on this? Button/Cushion button/Organic?

But ideally, if the joejoey setup was used for example, same tuner and only the injectors were changed to 480cc and tuned accordingly. A tune for 260kw should see the injectors run at around 83% duty cycle. I'm just trying to get a feel for what duty cycle a particular power figure can attract for 480cc injectors.. I have a set and have been told that running that over 85% duty cycle promotes the chance of injector/s failure and that I should go bigger.
