  1. After something like Tein SS Aus spec, or a shock and spring combo for a Er34 Gtt coupe. Must be good condition. Please provide pics and prices. Cheers, Chris
  2. And what would that estimate consider? Panel work inclusive?
  3. ... LOL would I have swerved if it wasn't on the road?? Now that I think of it, would it have been better to have hit the damn thing?? Ok so the old man knows a mobile mechanic at Cannington that is going to take a look at it on Saturday. So should I get hold of a control arm (found one for $225 delivered, is that reasonable?) so he has it on hand?
  4. Ok so it just dawned on me that because I can't drive at all I'm looking at a tow to each shop for quotes Wish I had my own hoist!!
  5. S'all good. Man I feel like shit today, even worse then when it happened. And I couldn't even drown my sorrows last night coz of work today .. I just want someone to hold me and tell me it's going to be alright haha.
  6. Thanks for the suggestion Brokenz. I just need to be as informed as I can be when I approach body shops and these inputs, solutions will help me heaps when I quiz the mechanics. So I will get some feedback from a few shops about the drivetrain (right word?? chassis) issue. Can any panel beaters out there provide an estimate for a full rear quarter panel fix and respray?
  7. Thanks for the input FineLine. Sounds like a good option but unfortunately I am up Townsville, probably should have mentioned that before sorry. As for your suggestion that I could have subframe/chassis alignment issues, how complicated is repair in the worst case? Need to source replacement, or can these type of things be reworked??
  8. So yesterday I was picking my little sister up from work and on the trip home this cattle dog chases a plover right in front of me... Next thing I know I have collected a sign post and am surrounded in dust. Thank f**k we weren't injured at all!! So now I am looking to get my baby repaired, but before I take it to a body work shop I would just like to ask you guys what you suspect is wrong (apart from panel damage) and what I should be looking at price wise for the repairs. Just ball park as I know each shop is different. So here are some pictures and as you can see I collected the sign post right in line with the drivers side rear wheel. The wheel has moved in at the base, which the tow truck driver suggested is from the control arm being damaged. I drove the car up the driveway at home and didn't notice any obvious bumps and jumps as if the axle had been damaged though, but then again I am not mechanically minded so I wouldn't really know... Any help would be appreciated. Chris
  9. Wondering if any Townsville peeps know of any local tuners that deal with NIStune? And by that I mean quality tuners (not Xtreme :s)... Sucks being regional, we miss out on top tuners that you metro guys take for granted. Maybe I should take a trip down to EFI on the Goldy??
  10. Well mate? Still interested!!

  18. Delivery of front bar to QLD 4811?
  19. I am also considering having my turbo high flowed (RB25DET Neo). Should this be done as suggested by a garett distributor or will a place like hypergear produce the same results? Basically after a durable and cost effective upgrade from stock that will help achieve 200rwkw and take a reasonable amount of boost. Any information welcome. Sorry for thread whoring Just thought it was cool as hasn't been active since last month..
  20. ^^ I have this installed in my car. It is a nice no BS unit and comes with a boost gauage (bit bright at night though). Yo Yo: was it easy running the wiring into that compartment? I only found that hidey spot last week, thought it was fuse location, so never bothered to look lol Would like to get my controller unit out sight of the fuzz.

    Next?

You made over 200rwkw with the stock air box, no fmic, boosted to 12psi? That doesn't sound right Dyno sheet??
  22. Blitz Nur Spec R FTW! I teamed this up with a JJR bellmouth front/dump and a catco hiflow cat and couldn't be happier Great looking exhaust and the sound is hawt. I have no mechanical experience and I didn't have too much trouble installing the system myself. Useful hint though, get yourself a socket set (1/2in or 3/8in driver if you don't have one already), lots of WD40 and a 6 pack, coz those dump nuts are a c to get off lol.
