thats just fuct up... I would start looking up every construction company in eastern sydney. If he was wearing that tshirt and said he was from maroubra ...chances are he works around that area. Although if i was to steal a car I wouldnt be telling the person where i lived ....or wear a work shirt .... then again some theives are just plain stupid.

They should take the good with the bad. What good is feedback if its all positive, itll end up being a thread full of false information leaving people with the wrong idea about them. That said, I bought my s2 r33 gts off them [shes gone to car heaven now ], they were pretty cool bout everything, transactions went smoothly etc. Although for the price I paid for the gts i could have gotten a gtst ....

the thing about the mods is that if you have an accident and the insurance company doesnt know about the mods they just wont fork out to put the mods back .... I only had mine for 3 months ...but i was still attached ... They sold her at the auction today for $4800 ....I COULDA BOUGHT HER BACK!!! ARRRRGHHHH!!!!

take a couple photos of the cars around you before you leave it .... if you come back and evidence has it that the car you took a photo of was responsible ....hunt them down and givem hell

I wrote my gts off recently ....first hand experience right here! Hit the guard barrier, was insured for $14700. Most damage was front driverside but bonnet was crushed abit, included steering damage as the driverside wheel was up against the firewall, so there was suspension damage too, etc. I personally didnt think it was that bad but apparently it was because it was quoted at exess of 15gs to fix by a JustCar preferred repairer. If you have the chance and want to keep the car I would reccomend shopping around for your own repairer to do it as the price difference between these autoshops vary massively. Must just be us crappy gts drivers writing all these non turbos off Pics of my write off... im still sad about it. Ill be back in 1.5 years with my turbo ... but for now...i drive eco friendly Fiesta!! .. twice the milage of the skyline with half the engine size (will help me save for turbo quicker) Very fun car to thrash around ...just lacks the balls ... anybody know how to fit turbos to these things?..hahaha it actually looks more like this... Weird little thing...bonnet release is down on the passenger side feet...blinker on the left hand side...lights are turned on with a nobby thing on the dash...center console looks like a smiley face ...boot release is on the dash ... these crazy germans ..i tell u ... Anyway, sorry to hear mate ..i know exactly how you feel ... at least youre ok ... From what you said I would probably say it was a write off ...

This is eating me alive .... im going to see if i can get a third quote on fixing the car ... Can anybody recommend somebody that will do a decent job at a nice price? ... They said that I needed to replace some steering stuff etc ... Im not going to let this go without a fight ...

thanks for the sympathies guys ... I waited 5-6 years to have my dream car and wrote it off in 3 months ... Now i'll end up getting a small eco hatch till im 25 (1.5 years for insurance purposes)...then ill be back ...all turboed up ...badder than ever... if petrol doesnt run out by then ...

I dont believe this!? ... i get a call from the peoples looking after my car and they recieved 2 quotes. 1 quote from some guy in punchbowl for $20k to fix the car and the other from bankstown for $9800 .... HOW THE HELL IS THERE A $10000 DIFFERENCE IN THE QUOTES!? ... what am i going to get for $20k? ...a 2.6 DETT!? WTF?
