Yeah the best option is using the z32 and keep vct. Its a pretty simple change over, no dodgy shit z32 ecu's are pretty cheap too and I spose you can get a lil money back selling your manual 33 ecu to someone doing a conversion... Def agree with the drunk comment. Old uni mates are absolute pissheads....I envy them

Nope I 'was' going for the nistune but now I'm not sure if I'm going to keep my car or not. Nistune being a cheap and very effective option... Ask any mechanical engineer and they'll tell you if you want max power, forget about it being economical....

Nahuhh. K&N!!!! Lol, in all honesty the apexi ones are good.... I use the K&N ones with the extreme top and inverted shape.... Similar design to the apexi but half the price. Blitz are the ones that f**k your car up

No machining needed and kept the stock flywheel. Getting a lightened one can change the way your car revs, most often for the better though. Standard clutch on a 33 will handle around 210rwkws.... the npc one I have in there has been known to handle 300kws atws and the clutch still holding the power strong... You upgrade your clutch so it can handle more power and more abuse, but I wouldn't suggest you abuse it... Ooohh....you're making my pants come alive

Going to look at it tomorrow. Found out it has no rego cos he let it expire . Laws for engine swaps are if the same motor goes in, just need to change the engine vin numbers with the dept of transport...no mod plate needed cos there's technically no mod done to it. Car came over from japan with that motor.... I'm gonna have to look for dealer plates if I'm to get the car though...

Never done this before but um.... FIRST... Scrapage and I think it's fkd up and out of alignment completly.... On another note, this question goes out to colin mcranga and anybody in general I guess but besides the obvious are there any known common faults on 32 gtr's and ownership of one. I'm talkin about only a lightly modified one here... (obvious problems being the engine ready to fkn die on me and a fkd gearbox/clutch)
