  1. The crunchin when changing gears is the synchros which require friction to work correctly. While redline shockproof is an excellent gear oil for protecting the actual gears in a gearbox it isnt the best for the synchros. Castrol VMX 80 gear oil is a better option. The are a couple tricks that can be performed to reduce some build up of material on the synchros and reduce glazing. First one is to fill the gear box with a kero oil mix and run the gearbox through the gears with the wheels off the ground so there is no load. Dont do it for too long as it will eventually where the gears. The second trick is with the gearstick in neutral, the engine running and the clutch engage apply pressure to the gearstick towards the problem gear. Dont push it so hard that it drops into gear. These will only provide minor improvments. Nissan gearboxes are renowned for synchro problems and the only true solution is to replace them
  2. Do the R32 GTR door trims and rear interior trims have any marks/damage? If so do you have any pics showing the marks?
  3. Do you have the gearstick shifter surround that the gearstick boot attaches too? If so does it have a textured finish and are all the plastic clips in good condition?
  4. Do you still have the rear bumper, reverse lights & rear quarter window interior trims?
  5. Do you still have the rear bar and reverse lights? What condition are they in? What colour is the bar currently? What sort of money are you looking for these?
  6. would you consider selling just the manifolds from the turbo kit
  7. No, i knew he was going to try something and allowed enough room for me to stop
  8. pm me with the details, im meant to be out drinking but im easily persuaded
  9. The cruise started well but came to quick end, we should reschedule this for another time minus a particular section. And maybe some radios would be useful to keep the group on course.
  10. a bigger intercooler is legal because its not power that regency are concerned with, its emissions. If you car is still running the factory computer it should still be within specifications because it compensates for intake temperature.
  11. Stu, can you send me the details
  12. The requirements for a steering wheel are that it be ADR approved and must be a minimum diameter which i think may be around 350mm, Regency state that the only aftermarket steering wheels that are ADR approved are some Momos. I have only discussed older vehicles with VIS so im not sure what their ruling is when the vehicle came originally fitted with a airbag steering wheel.

  14. Yes, but he cannot do it because it wasnt issued by his division. And with the attention we have created about this defect HHP would notice any removal of this defect.
  15. HHP officers havent admitted that the defect should be lifted, a traffic officer from another area has stated if it was there area and it was brought to their attention as was done here they would have cleared it. HHP officers have banded together and dug their heels in to show a united front and all state the the defect stands, prove your case to VIS
