  1. Thats the thing, she told me she didn't go till 2pm. Doesn't add up.
  2. Not sure if its what your after, nor do I know where to get them, but I have seen an alternative to having stickers on the car. This guy used a large magnet with his company logo on it, meaning when he wanted the car for the weekend he could just take them off, pretty cool if its your car.
  3. Hey guys, got a speeding fine the other day, for going 108 down princes freeway (Melbourne bound) near Werribee on a Monday at 10:47 am. Now I immediately know this wasnt me as a I barely go to Melbourne (live in Geelong). I know my girlfriend goes to Melbourne and she takes my car on Mondays, however she is in a uni class all monday morning, she drives down at 2. I know it says aprox. time but is 3 hours off approximate? To my knowledge the car wasnt stolen and returned or anything, but should i question it?? We are both on P's so i dont really want either of us to loose a point. Thanks - Burgies

    Hi Guys

Ouch, well at least they are good cars Again anyone in the Geelong area?? would be nice to have people to talk to around here about it, forums are a good way to get some of that car enthusiasm out instead of getting silly ideas in my head.

    Hi Guys

Yeah i am a P plater, but i have a Qld license from before the new laws were introduced there, which, unlike here, does not affect people who already have their licence, i go up every few months and do drive there so i think that justifies keeping it Opens in Dec

    Hi Guys

Thanks again for your advice guys, gonna buckle down with my studies and work to save up at least 10k and look around plenty, seen a couple for 8 that seemed pretty good so hopefully that kind of deal will still be around later down the track, i will then be able to pay up the costs, and presuming my studies go fine you never know, a GTR might be a few years away

    Hi Guys

Thanks for your help mate, want to keep it stockish so i know its legal, need to avoid fines, ill check out the for sale section, why are so many people selling, i know the worlds a mess but id think you would want to hold onto it to have something to keep your mind off things, do a lot of people have them as second cars? I see now that this fella was asking way to much as it needed around a grand in paint touch ups. Will be sure to keep checking out the forums in my spare time while i continue to save, its a good read!

    Hi Guys

Hey man its all good, i know what your saying, although the school holidays is a coincidence, seeing as im in uni and still have a week before holidays, so how much do you guys reckon is good for a pretty standard gtst r33?? Ive seen the differences between S1 and S2 and id like an S2, although i have seen ones badged GTS 25T, is this the same thing??

    Hi Guys

Hey guys thanks for the advice, really put me back in the right frameset. The plan was to get about 10k together so i could afford all those costs that drift out of your head when you get excited about the idea of a new car, esp a skyline! Is anyone here from the Geelong area?

    Hi Guys

Yeah i think i will just leave it, would feel a lot more comfortable driving a car i own outright, plus looking around i think that's a bit much for a stock car, lol i guess i just got excited by the prospect of a new car, one day though, and it will be all the more rewarding when i own it too, as my mother would say

    Hi Guys

Hey guys, used to come on here when i was saving for a car, but the dream died (as did lack of money) but i have started saving again and keeping an eye out for cars. Ive found this one in just the next suburb over. Ive been over and had a look and it needs some paint work, so he dropped the price to 11800 which i still cant afford, i really wasnt expecting to even look at another car for a few months, it was just so close. I told him i would see what i could do as there was a possibility of getting a loan from my parents, which didnt happen, now hes messaged me saying he really needs it gone and can go to $10500 and work out some kind of payment schedule over a couple of months. Is this a bad idea? Im a student and generally i make around $300 a week. Its tempting as id love the car, but is it a bad idea to have a car that you havnt paid for?? Any advice guys, as this is the first car i will be buying myself. Thanks and look forward to oneday cruising with you all -Burgies
