Tyres sold, I just have DMS coil overs and Greddy engines which are built exactly to new and stock but blueprinted and balanced. Greddy is the performance house in Los Angeles and no aftermarket parts were used all brand new Nissan parts.

Its a hole in one

I could not find a replacement r35 cooler and have been concerned about putting the old one back in after the disintegration of my engine. I ordered the PWR replacement but it is less than half the volume so i wont be using it. I have pulled out the old one and pulled it apart. This is what i have done and i want to know if its too much of a risk to reuse it. I have flushed it with fuel I have flushed it with turps I have flushed it with degreaser I have attached one end to a garden hose and left it running for 10 minutes. I have reversed the sides and again left it running for 10 mins I have thrown it into the pool and left it there overnight I have attached one end to a garden hose and left it running for 10 minutes. I have reversed the sides and again left it running for 10 mins I also understand that the direction of flow is from the cooler to the oil filter which should trap any micro particles that get in. Anyone prepared to give further advice

F....d if I know! Just driving through turn 9 (The one after Corporate Hill) at Eastern Creek when I heard a huge bang. I thought it was a tyre blow out until the car came to a slow halt leaving bits and pieces of car across 800 metres of track

After blowing the engine of the R35 into 4,823,163 pieces (Yes I counted) I decided to get my local mechanic to fit the engine rather than doing the sensible thing and send it to Martin at Willal. WELL on opening up the lines etc there are pieces of engine in the oil cooler, in the filter in all the oil lines we even found a gudgeon pin in the throttle body. We are going to flush everything out but how can we be sure that there is no shrapnel left in the circulatory system of the car.

Hi guys I bought an extra engine when I imported mine for race use. Greddy USA has bought the recalled engines with soft bearings, All had under 10k and they were rebuilt as follows. Pulled apart All parts checked New Nissan rod bearings with aftermarket WHP treatment New Nissan big end bearings with aftermarket WHP treatment New Nissan gaskets Crankshaft polished and balanced All parts blueprinted Put together to Nissans specs. That is a short block only as I contacted them, because I thought it was a great price. So add the head, gaskets, blue printing, fitting together and transport. Then customs of 5% and GST of 10% of the costs plus the transport. Quarantine, port docking fee, customs clearance handler. Id say your looking at about $23-$25k for the base 3.8 engine. Not including your labour, insurance, picking up the engine fom Port Kembla, the cost of money exchange, paying the money 3 months before you get the engine.
