Interesting the difference in tunes between Cobb Tuning VS Willal. Cobb Tuning on 100 Octane Stage 2 kit was 346 kwatts @ 11.5 A/F ratio Willal 98 Octane tune is 366.9 kwatts @ 11.8 A/F ratio Id say Willal is about the best value tune in history.

I finally tested the car at a Dyno today, to ensure the speed limiter was off and we went up to 220km/hr so assume its OK. Whilst doing this we measured the power and A/F ratio and were pleasantly surprised. 2008 Nissan GTR running stock 20in wheels and run flat tyres @ 32 psi mods= centre pipe changed only Running 17 psi on 98 Octane with Willal tune 366.9 kwatts ATW 690 Newton/Metres Torque. Does anyone know how you fit a probe or interface to an R35 so that you can run a Terratrip. The car is a tarmac rally car for race use only.

why is the 10.5 size purchased? I would have hought 19 X 9.5 would be a better option. I also want to go away fom the staggered size so that I only need to take 1-2 spares of the same size Still a long way off as sizes and pattern have to be confirmed. $2,000 is wholesale (or group buy price) they should retail around $3-$3.5 k

I have been speaking to Gmax wheels for about 6 months about a forged alloy wheel to fit the R35 and until lately he has not had enough interest fom customers to produce such a wheel. Gmax produces a very cheap but ultralight cast wheel which i use on my EVO race car and I have been very happy over the last 3 years with the performace of their products. NB they do not sponsor me nor do I receive any money or benefit. But I do buy a group deal every year before Targa. Having come back from a trip overseas he has now commissioned a forging plant to produce Forged wheels for the R35. Cast wheels are not reccomended for this weight of car in tarmac racing. He expects weights to be about 9.5kgs for the 19 inch and 11kgs for the 20 inch. I am pushing him to start work on the 19s as they will be street legal and CAMS legal being only 1 inch away fom the stock size, they will be lighter and there is a greater and cheaper availability of rubber in the 19in size. But what he wants to know is what pattern would we like to see on the wheels as they are not made, so a design is up to the first buyer. Ive ordered 2 sets and he states 3 months till finish at $2,000 a set. NB I dont pay until I see them. I need 19s as I will be doing targa with mine. targa allows no more than 1 inch + or-. What size and type of tyre are you guys thinking. i want all tyres the same size to make it easier for spares. Has anyone looked at the Pirelli P Zero Corsa looks like a bargain semi slick.

My JDM base model 2008 doesnt have run flats or the full leather trim.

Thats why the base model GTR IE less run flats, leather trim and bose is lighter, but the manual says its only 10kg lighter.

I have found that Women appreciate driving the R35 more than any other performance car, I have ever owned. But as a mature owner it can be a bit boring. my every day car = 320 kilowatt Auto VE Commodore ute. Extremely practical and fun car for anyone. most economical of all my cars. My special occasion and extreme fun car is a TVR Chimaera. raw muscular outrageous R35 = track and rally only.

Forgot to mention that mine is a tarmac rally and occassional track use only vehicle. IE not used on the road. would that nake a difference?

Im looking to fit a non airbag wheel to my race only R35. Any ideas on what kind of boss kit I need to fit a wheel? Is it the same as earlier GTR's? Where do I get one? Thanks Dom

Ok guys If you ever wanted to get intp real racing. I ahve two production race cars purchased from the Trophy series and used only for Charity ride days for sale. Suit circuit or targa events Both are CAMS logbooked and ready to race with everything from tyres, race seat through to new engines on the daewoo with 0kms and MGF just one lap day.
