  1. Proseat is one of them. Almost got my interior retrimmed by them but decided to get the Sparco racing seats instead. http://www.proseat.com.au/
  2. No.
  3. I believe that would not work with Skylines. It's an OBDII scanner; Skylines use Nissan CONSULT. Waste of money in any case, they are useless at half the things they say they can do.
  4. Easiest thing to do... Take it over the pits and let them tell you what needs doing.
  5. Me neither ^ Especially a single overhead Have a look in the NA Performance section mate, there is a good thread in there entitled "How to Turbo Your NA". If you are thinking of going down that path, that thread will make things clearer for you. Otherwise I agree with the other posts in here, go with an RB25DET. It will be the cheapest and easiest option.
  6. Effectively, yes. The sensor itself is still in the dump pipe, but the harness has been unplugged. When connected it gives a lot of trouble, made it impossible to tune.
  7. I think it is quite normal. I have the same thing, as does my mates 32. Had a look on the hoist but there is nothing visible anywhere, it's just the fumes and smell.
  8. But my o2 sensor is not connected, should my afr's still be cycling?
  9. Yeh my issue occurs from when I turn the key to just before operating temperature. Not sure exactly what temp it is when it stops, probably around 60-65ish degrees (water).
  10. Surging is a bit of a misleading term I think, I don't think it is really surging. I don't know how else to describe it though. It's not like a TP cut or anything like that where it feels like you have hit a wall. It's much more subtle. It's like if you were driving along, and you just tapped the accelerator quickly. It speeds up a little bit, slows down a little bit, speeds up a little bit, slows down a little bit, etc. Very minute, so hardly registers on the speedo at all, but you can hear it and you can feel it. Only ever while cruising, and only when it's cold. As soon as you put your foot down or decel quicker or the engine is warm, it doesn't do it.
  11. So more likely to be TP sensor??
  12. Nah, NIStune. My tuner did say at the time that my o2 sensor was causing problems so he had to disconnect it, but it didn't matter because he just tunes around it anyway. My car is booked in for a retune next week, but at a different tuner. So I wanted to see if I was correct about it being the o2 sensor or if I should ask my new tuner to investigate.
  13. Ok so quick question about the o2 sensor, Would having it disconnected cause any sort of issues while the car is cold? I have noticed that while my car is cold and I am cruising on decel (using the gears to maintain speed, ie. going down a hill in 5th my car will just sit at 80km/h without needing to apply the brake or accelerator), or while cruising with only very slight throttle, my car - for lack of a better word - 'surges'. What I mean is that it feels like the engine is slowing down a little bit and then it speeds back up again. It's not really enough to affect my speed as the speedo hardly registers it. But it's enough that I can feel it happening. As far as I can recall, it has only started happening since my tuner disconnected my o2 sensor and tuned around it. And it only happens while the car is cold and as I understand it, only while it would be in closed loop. Is this likely to be the o2 sensor or something else, TP sensor maybe? Sorry if I'm hijacking, it seemed remotely on topic
  14. So many Skylines at ECU Joondalup today. Was in building 2 between 11:30 and 12:30; saw 2 red R33's, one white R33 and one stock looking white R34, all driving along the main drag there.
  15. If you want original, why not three?
  16. Not less laggy. More laggy. You're using turbos designed for 2.5L and only running them with 1.5L. And then you still have crappy ceramic wheels that can't reliably take more than 12psi at the most. And who cares if they blow? You realize there is the possibility of taking the motor with them right?
  17. Is it just when you take a photo or can you see that they look green?
  18. I don't see the need to be so harsh... You blindly discourage innovation. It was an idea, even if it doesn't work, it was someone trying to think of a method to improve. Explain why it wouldn't work, pat him on the back for thinking. Don't shoot him down for both.
  19. Wait what? Do your wheels look like this: If not, I doubt hard suspension is the cause of them cracking. Perhaps if you hit a pothole or something along those lines... In any case, very hard to recommend someone to fix them without knowing your location???
  20. Oh I've already done it man, it looks sick I'll post a pic when I get home later.
  21. Haha ah ok, didn't see ya, would've waived. I was probably too busy watching the massive truck that took the corner so fast I thought it was gonna roll on top of me
  22. Was waiting for something like that to happen ^ Another thing I thought of... I wonder what these things look like while you're traveling along at 80km/h+?? I keep wondering if here I am thinking my car look so awesome with my amazing lip, while people in other cars are driving past thinking "what the hell does that guy have caught on his front bumper, it's flapping around like crazy."
  23. Good choice, you won't regret it Looks hot, sounds awesome, and most importantly you know it is going to do the job you want it to do. Just make sure you get at least 3"! lol.
  24. If it's done properly, all that stuff is easily passable.
