  1. Heh, yeh that would've been me Where were you?
  2. Lol at $400 for injector cleaning. The other stuff is ridiculous as well. Sounds like the workshop was trying to take advantage of you. I do agree, I DIY most things on my car. But judging by the OP's post, he doesn't have much experience with these cars/engines. In my opinion, he should get it serviced properly and well checkout out the first time. There's a lot that could need changing that he might look over if just changing the oil, ie. belts, brake pads, rotors, etc. etc. Then once he has had the car for awhile and has got some more experience with it, DIY to his hearts content
  3. +1. If I were you I would go and get it serviced; you never know what oils the previous owner was using or how long they have been in there, etc. Might as well get them to check general things like boost controller settings, and all that. Won't cost much, and for the peace of mind it would be worth it.
  4. Mine was $250, was made by Kermit. Dunno if you've heard of him over there, but in the west he's the man you speak to when you need any fabrication work done
  5. ... My advice would be to splash out on a custom stainless one. I did and I believe it to be money well spent. Custom will always fit your car perfectly. And the sound it makes... Oh the sound
  6. When talking actuators it's about boost; it's the pressure that forces the spring down.
  7. I'll check all my settings for ya tomorrow mate
  8. And Russian Roulette is a fun game until you get the wrong chamber
  9. Mmm that's illegal. Needs to be kept to PM.
  10. He mentioned something about an RB25 drift car at some stage, I forget where...
  11. Not much luck selling it then? http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/index.php?app=forums&module=post&section=post&do=reply_post&f=8&t=371622&qpid=5948582
  12. How Should not be possible...
  13. Doesn't matter what they tell you. Matters what mood the inspector that you get is in. Some complain about coilovers some don't.
  14. You'll probably find a cat helps a lot, it will get rid of the annoying drone. My car is damn loud (Custom Kermit 3" straight cut job), but it's a nice loud and doesn't get annoying. I have a 5" body Venom cat.
  15. I manage to hold boost pretty well? Drops off around 2psi towards redline, that's deliberate though.
  16. It would appear I am very out-of-date with your current cars dude... In any case, what wheels??? I'm gonna be applying some spacers to the S36's for Powercruise. Just to 'stand out' a bit more. seewhatIdidthere.jpg
  17. This guy ^ He knows
  18. Well yeh lol. As he said, different wheels have different center bore sizes. So if you get hubcentric spacers that have too big a ring then they aren't going to fit your wheel, etc.
  19. Amazing but to be fair, it is an RB28. On gate that is always going to sound incredible. Fkn lol at the end of the vid
  20. And here is where I stop agreeing with you
