Converting Rb25Det Rwd To Awd...? Info Needed
Hanaldo replied to ShyBoi's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Joking right? -
Looks the goods, definitely See here... No water. There's your problem That made me laugh trying to picture it lol. Ok that's fair enough, it's definitely possible to make something that's eatable while driving. A sammich is a good choice as well really, lunch is a good time to be eating starch. So maybe just instead of the vegemite and cheese, have some chicken or ham or fish. Though if you're happy with your current diet then by all means keep with it

Yeh see fruit isn't exactly healthy either lol. General misconception that fruit is good for you and you can eat as much of it as you want. It's really not, it's packed full of fructose. Sure you get a lot of vitamins from them, which is why you should eat two serves a day. But other than that, you are simply consuming a lot of sugar. As for what to eat for lunch, that's up to your own personal taste. I tend to change a lot, things like tuna with beans, salads, yoghurt, bit of fruit... Lots of stuff.
-
Yeh definitely not lol. Lunch is when you should be consuming protein, antioxidants, vitamins, minerals, complex carbs, etc. etc.
-
I personally would leave the peanut butter out... The thing with vegemite is, it's not going to kill you to eat it (though I would die from vomiting ), it's what it replaces that is the issue. A piece of vegemite on toast is not an adequate breakfast. But if you were a bit hungry before or after a proper lunch, you could eat it with no dramas.

Lol just while we are on this subject, I've never actually had a problem with food being 'boring'. I appreciate that food tastes good, don't get me wrong there are things that I absolutely love. On special occasions I branch away from my healthy eating and let myself indulge. But for most of the time... Food is fuel. I don't have a problem saying no to pizza or cake or whatever just because I know it tastes good. It's as simple as "I'm hungry, I need energy". In most situations, the foods I know taste really good also make me feel like shit.

I take it you're talking roids???

There is nothing wrong with eating throughout the day mate. You need to eat healthy, but that doesn't mean limiting yourself to 3 meals per day. Snacking on healthy food is very good for you, it promotes your metabolic rate which helps how quickly you burn off calories. What you ate yesterday... Not healthy. Not healthy at all. You can not out-exercise a bad diet. Being healthy is 70% about what you eat, and 30% about how you exercise. Again, not true at all. Water is extremely good for you, it's health benefits are amazing. Most people get around in a constant state of dehydration and don't even realize because they think that is the 'norm'. Same as how overweight people think junk food makes them feel good. It doesn't. It makes you feel rubbish, you just don't notice because that is how you always feel. Start actually drinking water and you will realize how amazing you feel. Speaking from personal experience mate, I used to eat whatever I wanted before going to bed and I picked up a lot of weight doing it. Cut it out and I saw the effects immediately. Your example of bodybuilders. You do realize what the aim of bodybuilders is right? To stack on as much weight as possible in as little a time as possible? I could give you a very effective workout/diet plan that will get you bigger than Charles Sipes in 30 days. But most people don't want to look like that. If all you are after is a toned, athletic, healthy body... Do not follow what bodybuilders do, it won't get you what you want.

Yes, but different type of energy. I'm not saying don't eat anything after 3pm. But you don't use carbs when you sleep. They just get stored. Your body uses nutrients that repair your body, not the ones that give you energy. So protein, vitamins, that sort of thing. Glucose gets stored and turned to fat.
-
Yehhhh, vegemite is not healthy. Neither is juice, juice is one of the worst things to consume when trying to lose weight. Fruit in general is not ideal. Spaghetti is pure carbs, I try not to eat a lot of carbs after 3pm because you don't burn it off before going to sleep and that is when it turns to fat. Beer, also pure carbs. This. I don't eat anything within 2 hours of going to sleep, if I feel desperately hungry then I have a protein shake. But usually I just do what Alvin said and have some water. Eps, make sure you drink A LOT of water. First thing I do when I wake up in the morning is go and drink 500ml of water. Then consistently through the day, I probably drink close to 3L of water a day (not including what I drink when I'm at the gym).

It begs the question... Why?

Upgraded Injectors, Running Like Pus!
Hanaldo replied to W0rp3D's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
The longest sentence I have ever seen... -
Oh really, so p players can't have imports? Sucks to be you guys lol
-
Yeh that is a good one. My stupid gym setup that machine in the wrong place though, if you try to do woodchops then you get in EVERYONES way. Might complain about that when I go there today...
-
Or the cartilage just gave out, happens. Don't have to be doing something wrong to injure yourself, you are loading your body after all. That's like saying someone is piss-weak because they tore their hamstring during a sprint.
-
How would XR6's be legal then?
-
Well pressure is a measure of restriction to flow... So I don't think you are asking the right question In all seriousness though, they can take a fair whack before it causes problems. How big is the dent?
-
It's not really the food as such, although it doesn't help. Dunno about you but when I go overseas I like to eat the national foods. Not many countries have 'salad' as a typical food lol. I wouldn't say the food is any worse over there, it's just that I would ONLY eat that stuff as opposed to when I'm at home and I eat healthy. Couple that with the fact that my only exercise for 6 weeks was snowboarding, it's not hard to see how I am now in recovery mode lol. If you can keep up your exercise while you are there then you won't have too many issues. You going in winter or summer?
-
Yeh I already do bridging, but I do weighted crunches (4x20 reps with 20kg weight ball) beforehand so my abs give out after about 2 minutes of bridging and obliques don't get that much benefit. I also already do a similar exercise as that other one, not free-weight though. My gym has a machine that you kneel on and twist side to side to lift the weight. Can do cables, I shall google the Bruce Lee flags... Lol, funny how you are doing Europe-prep, I'm busy getting my body back after Europe The diet gets much easier. I can no longer drink any soft drinks, and I find most fast food that I used to enjoy disgusting. Healthy food just gets easier and easier to eat; makes you feel better.
-
+1, dips are amazing. Favourite exercise at the gym. Anyone got suggestions for some intense exercise for obliques? I usually do a few different exercises, but I just don't feel the burn anymore. Abs are fine, just need something more challenging for obs?

How Do I Prevent People Stealing My Car Parts?
Hanaldo replied to Roffy92's topic in Western Australia
Not a good idea to make body parts unremovable. Get a good alarm system that has level sensors that will set off the alarm if the car is jacked up. Better to wake up your whole neighborhood then to have your shit stolen. Could also try hiding what type of car it is by getting a car blanket, bit tedious taking it on and off everyday so guess it depends on how motivated you are to stop them. -
Mine also does this but no where near as bad. Starts almost instantly when I turn the key on cold start, but when warm it cranks a little bit then fires and I usually blip the throttle a little to bring the revs up. Has been like that ever since I had my injectors installed, so I believe they are the culprit. Doesn't bug me TOO much so I haven't done anything about it.
-
Mine definitely ran 5-7psi when it was stock. Confirmed by my 2 boost gauges, my boost controller, and my tuners boost gauge. I've never heard of R34's running more boost than 33's from factory? I thought they ran the same? Just have a bigger turbo so they flow more.
-
Which is why I said full boost.

7psi full boost.
