  1. To the OP, Hyperdrive are definitely the tuner you should speak to! Oh wait... Lol wow, back from beyond dead! Yeh, car is now complete. Ended up doing complete GT to GTT conversion.
  2. Great, thanks for that mate, will give it a go later today. Side note - how do you get into the fuel tank? lol
  3. Awesome, too easy where can I get some good quality fuel hose from? So I don't need to rewire the pump to give it a more direct voltage like you do with the bosche 040's and 044's?
  4. Ok so the extra earth lines didn't work, problem is still there. I am now suspecting it is my alarm/immobilizer that is causing the issues, as from memory these problems started when I had it installed. Would there be anyway of finding out for sure, before taking it back to identimark (I think they are a bit dodgy)
  5. Thanks for your reply mate So is there any rewiring needed? And what do you mean by fittings? Do I need anything that did not come with the fuel pump?
  6. And here I am wasting money modifying my R34 when I could have an R34 Z-Tune drift car with working headlights. I feel quite the fool
  7. So does nobody know, or is this just such a stupid question that everyone is ignoring me?
  8. Quiet you, those are side indicators I also wanna see the difference between Nismo and JJR front indicators, I don't like my tinted ones and really wanna get clear ones. $300 for indicators is a bit rich though
  9. Hey guys, First of all just wanted to say I have done a search but couldn't find anything on how to do this in an R34, don't know how similar they are to R32/R33's... I just wanted to find out how hard it is to install a Walbro 550hp intank fuel pump in an R34? And how to go about it? I was meant to be getting it installed by a workshop here in Perth when they serviced it today, but when I got there they told me that my fuel tank needs to be empty to do it so they can't do it today, I would need to bring it back. I am seriously over their bullshit so I don't want to take it back there, which is why I wanted to find out how to do this myself? I have read that you need to rewire aftermarket fuel pumps in order for them to work properly, is this accurate? Thanks in advance for any help, Martin.
  10. It's a hypergear turbo, it can take it
  11. Definitely sounds like air regulator then mate, get that checked out. It's a very simple mechanical valve that can break very easily.
  12. If you're running the stock ecu then you should be fine, they are designed to run very rich
  13. Not even that man, just get a good ecu and get it tuned by a good tuner. It shouldn't be leaning out unless something is wrong, in which case you will notice and THEN you can take it to a dyno to sort it out. There's no point chucking it on the dyno every so while just to see what the AFR's are doing.
  14. Apparently not. No, no, fair call, I'm glad we had this little bonding session, I feel closer to the SAU community now. As I said, didn't mean any offense by questioning your post, just wanted more detail. Stated my reasons for that. Would love to stay and chat, but I know when I'm beaten and I think I'm getting schooled by a hitman, so I shall take my leave. Night all <3
  15. Nice, very nice, stalker? Seriously though, April 09? Anything within the last year? Hats off though sir, you have done your homework.
  16. Nope, that's all I wanted mate, more detail. Your previous post seemed like a "this car seems nice, tell the OP it's impossible to register and then buy it myself" type post. Have seen plenty of that on this forum before, bearing in mind I don't know you or what type of person you are at all, I think my request was justified. No offense was intended. Also, yes I did request a link to the ad; James chose to PM me instead because he didn't want to post it here... Just sayin. This. Good call. I am still at school. I'm in year two. Don't recall stating it elsewhere on SAU though? Link?
  17. Well... very useful post there. Apart from copying the advert which James clearly didn't want to post on here, you didn't really do much else. Care to elaborate at all on that? Why would this car "NOT PASS IN A MILLION YEARS"? I'm not seeing any mods there that can't be engineered and registered? It would easily pass 5 gas, there isn't much modification engine wise. Mod approval is as simple as filling out a form and taking it to an engineer, there aren't any out of this world modifications on the car.
  18. Porsche 924
  19. I wouldn't even bother with it dude, it's not really a practical tool for day to day use. EGT gauges are pretty good because they are affordable, and once you get to know the 'norm' for your car you can figure out if something is going wrong.
  20. Air regulator is located near the plenum, follow the vacuum line that is Tee'd into the hose coming from the AAC valve. Bov could be the culprit as it is atmospheric, it releases the air into the atmosphere after the AFM, causing the ecu to over inject and run rich. But bov's usually cause problems on decel, so it doesn't sound like this is the cause of your problem...
  21. Lol get with the times man, he's had 4 cars since the 33 GTR
  22. They are exactly the same as a narrow band gauge, they are a gauge. Wideband just refers to the type of sensor the gauge uses. A fairly popular brand is AEM: http://www.aemelectronics.com/wideband-air...8af52a2bdk5t456 They are not really practical because they are hugely expensive. They are pretty pointless (read unnecessary) unless you are using it for tuning purposes. So what do you want an a/f gauge for? You may find that an exhaust gas temperature gauge will suit your needs better, as you can use it to 'assume' your a/f ratio and makes for a pretty good general monitoring tool.
  23. Lol gold. Probably a good call though, I forgot James doesn't do any DIY.
  24. Lol at all WCC guys being on SAU cos WCC is down
  25. I don't think it's that bad man. Just remove the cage, they are gay anyway, somebody wanting to build a race car would probably pay a good bit of coin for it. The other things aren't hard to fix, standard suspension is easy to find, standard exhaust is easy to find. Really not a big deal.
