  1. Why don't you just PM Sydneykid for advice lol?
  2. Ebay? http://cgi.ebay.com.au/APEXi-Power-Intake-...=item5ad708e743
  3. Lol awesome. Did you get the guys name? I got the name of the guy that inspected mine but now I've forgotten it Pretty sure it was the supervisor though, the other inspectors seemed to be going to him and asking him questions and things...
  4. $1200 better? See my sig, I love my HID's (No idea how much it costs to retrofit projectors, I'm going by price of projector headlights)
  5. Been to Midland once, got the initial inspection and they told me what I had to fix, I did none of it except replace my racing pedals (didn't have stock accelerator pedal so drilled on a stock Falcon brake pedal), passed when I took it back lol.
  6. Why the aggression mate? I'm offering advice, no need to be offensive. Did you ever think that maybe that bike just has crappy reflectors, as lots of them do? I've seen plenty of different cars with HID's and stock reflectors that look great, it's not hard to get rid of hot spots. Have you tried installing HID's in your car with the stock reflectors? If not then do it, you won't lose anything and you will be able to see how they look with your cars stock reflectors. If there are hot spots, try eliminating them, it's not hard and in most cases you can get rid of all of them. If you still don't like it, by all means go and spend the money to get projectors fitted. But whatever, it's your money and I'm blind.
  7. Again, not worth hundreds of dollars. My HID's are not scattered. There are some slight hotspots close to the car where the light creeps out under the headlight. These photo's are really old and I wasn't really focusing on the HID's, but you can sort of see what they look like. I would install the HID's with the stock reflectors, then if you don't like them think about paying for some projectors. If you've ever seen R34 xenon headlights, they don't actually have projectors but the spread is still good. Personally I don't think you need projectors for HID's, but having said that I do think the projectors themselves just look classy. Nothing to do with how they throw the light, I just like the look of projector headlights, looks more modern and refined. So I can understand wanting them, my argument is just based on the fact that you don't actually NEED them to have HID's.
  8. +1 for not going to Welshpool. Midland is awesome.
  9. Just adjust your headlights properly and they won't blind other drivers. I have HID's without projectors, used to blind everyone before I adjusted them, now they are fine. Not worth paying hundreds of $$$ for.
  10. And the silver dash facia?
  11. Nah didn't end up getting it mate, went with the ARK MFD instead as it wires straight into the ECU so I didn't have to purchase an extra cable. The ARK also comes with a boost sensor, so didn't have to purchase another sensor. In the end worked out about $400-$500 cheaper, and it's really easy to use
  12. That's gotta be a faulty gauge surely ^ No way actual temps could rise that quickly...
  13. Cheers for the offer dude, I no longer need it though, didn't go through with the deal.
  14. Your whole setup is win ^ The dash gauges, the turbo timer/boost controller/other deely, the a/f gauge. I love it man The only thing that is annoying me slightly... Your shift nob is crooked How did you fit the a/f gauge in there, did you cut the surround?
  15. Quick google search for "Graham Farmer Tunnel Speed": Taken from www.mainroads.wa.gov.au Intelligent Transport Systems Strategy. "Strategy 3.4 – Support Police enforcement activities a) Install Graham Farmer Freeway tunnel speed cameras when required by the Police." Judging by that document, it sounds as if police are able to setup speed cameras in the tunnel if and when they want.
  16. Where does it light up? I'm picturing the triangle lighting up?
  17. Mine doesn't light up? There is nowhere for it to light up either, so definitely doesn't have a light. Man this is going off topic fast lol
  18. What? ^ Whacky Dee, just saw your dash, where did you get the silver facia? Sorry OKBANANA, don't mean to whore your thread lol.
  19. Why do you need it to tune the car? PFC's can be tuned without the hand controller...
  20. From Max? Proseat? That's where I was gonna get the material from. Looks the goods, will probs go for it
  21. I actually love that interior look, I have a similar theme with white leather gearstick/handbrake boots, and the surround on my dash gauges is painted white. Did you retrim the door inserts yourself? How hard was it to do, where did you get the material from? Have wanted to do that ever since I got my car (previous owner was a smoker, interior is badly stained ) Will go for a slightly more custom approach, but much of a muchness with what you have done.
  22. Shocking is a bit harsh, I do prefer the way you have done it with the gauges sitting inside, but I think this way looks good as well. He did say he found 52mm too small, which is fair enough.
  23. Would look exactly the same as a standard one on the inside, except you would be able to see it from the outside. Take off your cam gear cover, if it's dirty on the inside then you've answered your own question.
  24. KYP have warned me not to push my engine past 350rwhp if I want it to be reliable. Things are starting to feel the pinch at that stage. You could probably push 400-450, but I would be nervous every time I hit full boost at that power level on standard internals...
