Yeh, to be honest it probably was a red card (by FIFA's stupid rules anyway). But how about that tackle by the Ghanaian? That was a clear red card under any circumstances. Yet Timmy Cahill gets sent off for his tackle. It's ridiculous.

f**k that, how about we just scrap the games altogether and the referees can just play chess between themselves
  4. Have you found out about the mounting blocks yet mate?

1-1, Kewell sent off. You know what, I'm not watching this World Cup anymore. This is the most corrupt display of refereeing that I have ever seen, and it is ruining the game for me. Bullshit.

  7. Yeh feel free man, [email protected]. But have you tried uploading the pictures to photobucket.com?
  8. Yeh but that makes it legal lol. In all honesty you will probably have to cut it though.
  9. Yeh my reo bar has been cut and made it over the pits, but i really think i was lucky and the inspector just ignored it
  10. Yeh man, anyone is welcome
  11. Yeh cutting your reo bar is definitely illegal, they don't look too kindly on that.

McDonald. And bringing along Thomson would not have been a bad move, at least it would have given us someone to bring off the bench. As it is, we literally have two strikers, Kennedy and Nikky. Neither of which are prolific, and only really have the ability to do damage to teams if they are partnered up front together, in which case we have no strikers to replace them off the bench if need be. In a World Cup squad, you need at least 4 out and out strikers. If you don't have that then you don't have the necessary depth, simple as that.

They won't, Pim left all Australia's strikers behind My hope is that Germany dented their pride enough to spur them onto a 1-0 win. But my prediction is a 1-0 win for Ghana. Australia won't score more than 2, probably won't score more than 1, and that is if they score at all. They simply don't have the firepower. Their only hope is to keep a clean sheet and hope to steal a goal.
  14. Hahaha +1 ^ This is totally just a WCC thread on SAUWA so far
  15. Lol ^ Haha I love threads like this

I disagree, we don't suck and we have some very good players. The players that lack natural talent make up for it with hard work and enthusiasm. Our problem is the coach. Games are won and lost in the tactics that the coach uses, and he has to use tactics that suit the players he has at his disposal... Pim failed at that miserably. Just because Tim Cahill is a great player doesn't mean he can play anywhere on the park. He was wasted up front. Everything about Verbeek's tactics were terribly wrong, and they have been wrong ever since he took over. 4 years ago nobody was saying we sucked at football. In fact, right up until Sunday night, people were still expecting us the Socceroos to do well. Germany are one team that could completely expose every single on of Verbeek's mistakes and make us look stupid. Switzerland on the other hand, that is an example of what you can do with excellent coaching and enthusiastic players...
  18. Good stuff Socs, you know i'll be there
  19. Dude all i can say is research research research... I researched for over a year about what my better options were, and only now am i going through with the engine swap in my car, basically turning it into a GTT. It is one hell of a pain in the ass, easiest option by far would be to sell and buy a GTT. Reasons I didnt do that are because the body of my car is in very good condition, and i have spent over $10000 in upgrading the brakes, suspension, body kit, paint, everything. So really the only thing i was missing was the GTT engine, gearbox and drivetrain; decided that if i was to start again and buy a stock GTT, i would be back to square one, where the only thing i liked about the car would be the engine, etc. and i would have to spend money everywhere else again. Also I am just very attached to my car There is a thread on here about how to turbocharge your NA, have a read of that and also speak to N-DAWG and 666Dan as they have been through it themselves and gave me some good advice about it. Before you go looking for more power though, have you upgraded your brakes and suspension? Because if you stinge on those things, your power upgrade will not be very much fun at all... My 2c

  21. Ok, well i've solved my problem. The cold idle control valve (not sure if that is the correct terminology, but that is what it does) is stuck open, which is why the car runs fine when it is cold (albeit idling quite high), but then as it gets warm the engine is getting too much air and it starts driving like crap. So it is pretty much a vacuum leak. Steve, in case this solves your problem as well I'll try to go into a bit more detail so you can check it out. Just to clarify, the cold idle control valve is not the ACC idle control valve, but it is near it. You will see on the ACC valve that it has the vacuum hose coming off it yeh? That vacuum hose joins onto two other hoses with a T-Piece. The bottom hose is the one you want, follow it down and it leads to the cold idle control valve which is located near the throttle body. Doesn't look like much, it is just a sort of metal plate where the hose joins onto. This valve has a metal disc that opens when it is cold, and is meant to close when it is warm, but for some reason on my mates car it is stuck open and won't shut. We have blocked off the bottom connector of the T-piece and the hose leading to the idle control valve (really need to block it off well because it easily becomes unstuck when you hit boost), and this has solved the problems, although it will now be a bit rough when it is cold. Otherwise it drives perfect again.
  22. Lol now to find someone that knows how to do that
  23. Have cleaned the old one, didn't work so replaced it with a new one and it still did nothing
  24. Haha he didn't, he created a thread for it and the mods moved it here. Not sure why they moved my post though... lol
  25. Yeh that's why we don't want to take it to a workshop, anyone that can use CONSULT is a good 40 minute drive from where we are, the car drives like shit after 2 minutes
