  1. Is the battery secured tightly? Happened to my mates R32, went over a slight bump and the battery wasn't very secure so it jumped up and hit the bonnet, arced out everything, was completely dead. Failing that, check earth cables for dodgy connections
  2. As you can see, there isn't much of a slope, it's just enough for the water to run off it
  3. I'll take some pics tomorrow in the sunshine mate It wasn't easy to do but it definitely looks the goods thats for sure! We don't have pets though, but i imagine you would have to clean it up... If you leave it then it may stain the lawn. But it wouldn't be hard to give it a quick high-pressure squirt with the hose, don't have to worry about digging up the lawn anymore You do only need a slight run off, you will see in the pictures that there isn't a great deal of slope. But it can't be porous as the base layer is concrete, the water would just collect between the concrete and the lawn and cause a whole heap of problems.
  4. Me and my dad just put some of this stuff in my backyard, we used about 12sq metres and it was about $2000 worth of lawn. Brad is right, you don't want to use the cheap stuff, it is crap! The stuff i have isn't absolute top of the line, but it is pretty good. It looks great! The only thing i can fault it on is that when you walk on it it sounds like you're walking in a tent... Which sort of ruins the illusion. And you have to make sure you set it up so that water can drain off it because obviously water isn't going to soak in anymore. But other than that it is pretty good! Definitely not as simple as that. You need to mix concrete in with the sand, we used a 7% concrete mixture. While you are mixing in the concrete you also need to wet it, otherwise it won't all set properly. We spread the concrete out over the top and then used a rotomotor machine to mix the concrete and the sand while spraying it with a hose (not an easy job). Then you need to compact the whole thing with a compactor, and that needs to be done before the concrete dries otherwise you will just smash it all and turn it back into dirt... So you need to mix the sand and concrete and then compact it all in about an hour and a half, which is actually one hell of a rush (for our size lawn anyway). Then once that has dried, you need to get some fairly course gravel and spread that over the top, making sure it is the right shape as the lawn will follow the shape of this gravel. Then you need to compact that really well as well, but this can only be done by making it wet and then walking on it as a compactor will smash the layer of concrete underneath. So you need to spend a lot of time walking on it to compact it. Once you have done all of that, then you can lay out the lawn over the top (bloody heavy stuff!!)
  5. Ok so Tyre Centre in Mundaring replaces and balances for a tenna... You guys go to expensive places!
  6. GTR bov's are quite a bit different, only similarity is they have the same size flange and they are plumb back... Otherwise they are pretty different
  7. That's just bad English lol
  8. I see, so the only modification needed is because of the height of the injectors?
  9. Your profile says you have a 33 GTST. GTST injectors and GTT injectors are different. When i emailed those guys to ask if they would fit an R34 they told me not without modification to the fuel rail or an aftermarket fuel rail.
  10. Those won't fit an R34 unless you get an aftermarket fuel rail to suit the 14mm o-rings
  11. I'll say it again, they really know their shit
  12. They all use the same alternator, it isn't different in any way
  13. What pads did you end up getting Chris, Project MU? *EDIT*, just read your above post saying you had ordered Project MU pads, my bad
  14. Seriously wish i could go... car would by done by then as well. Seriously guys, get involved in this, it is so much fun! Best cruise event, i'm already looking forward to the next one because hopefully i'll be able to go!
  15. Ok well i emailed Splitfire and they said the non-turbo models and the turbo model coilpacks are exactly the same, so yes they will fit. Thanks for your suggestions guys
  16. PM 666Dan, he can sort you out. I'm using the kit he gave me, works really well
  17. Seriously, nobody knows if DE coil packs are the same as DET coil packs?
  18. Is there such a thing? They wouldn't be able to control the environment enough, usually they paint in their heat rooms so they can control humidity, dust, etc. Never heard of a painter that comes to you
  19. Does this need an external gate or is it internally gated?
  20. Yeh that's why the guy couldn't replicate them. Bloody Nissan. Awel, i might just go for the silver surround... Would look better with the white dials but what can you do. I've also got blue LED lights, white won't work because the dials have a blue coat on them that turns the white light into a pale blue. Did you get the lights off Dan (666Dan) on here? His kits are quite good
  21. Yeh i want to do that as well. I will give it a shot and let you know how i go man
  22. I just don't understand why they would spin such a story... AllStar are bloody excellent, why wouldn't they just say "something is up with the car mate, it's running lean so we have retarded the timing and kept the boost stock". Those guys are wizards with ECU's, why would they blame the ECU when it is a problem that i'm sure isn't being caused by the ECU?
  23. Ok so turns out i'm still on the hunt, the guy said he was unable to replicate them successfully because of the shape of the dials. Makes sense as to why none exist for 34's as of yet... Damn Nissan and their making the dials complicated
  24. Lol small world man, still weirded out by our encounter this morning hahaha... Anyway, are the gauges electrical or mechanical? Will make it easier to explain how to install it
