Do 3076's have a ceramic turbine wheel? Because ive seen many a ceramic turbine wheel destroyed by flutter. I personally wouldn't have flutter with a ceramic turbine, only steel as stell is strong enough to withstand it. From my experience anyway... No comments about my non-turbo people, not talking about my car lol Atmo BOV means that the BOV vents the pressure directly to the atmosphere which is illegal. BOV have to be plumbed back into the system, meaning the BOV vents the pressure back into your cars system. Atmo BOVs are gay anyway, rip that shit off and either just dose it or get a plumb back BOV. Stock GTR BOV ftw! If you still have the stock intake pipe the there should be a number of bolts at the end of it just after the AFM and just before the pod filter. Just make up a bracket to bolt on to there and then bolt the other end to the engine bay somewhere. Really easy and will save the pod filter flying off into your engine bay. Recommend you box the pod as well if it isn't, makes a huge difference.

*sigh* here comes the publicity Hard to say what caused the accident though, out in Gidgegannup there are some fast roads, so he may not have been doing anything wrong. Will have to wait and see... In any case, hope he rests in piece.

Ok ive just found that i won't be able to make it down before lunch time, something came up. Sorry about that Jason So does anyone want to do a meet in Midland or somewhere near there at say 12:45pm for a 1:15pm cruise?
-
Ok cool, well it only starts at 10 so you won't miss much You gotta head down though, its gonna be sick!
-
Not that i know of dude, why is the orientation day on a Saturday? Thats stupid
-
Ok cool man, im around the hills area, so maybe we could meet Midland? Then cruise down Roe hwy, etc? I also think both our cars would be evenly matched hey, although does yours have traction control? If it does, i may have an advantage with that if you can't turn it off Anyway, anyone else interested in meeting at Midland at say 8:30am for a 9am leave?

Hey everyone! Im sure you all know Motorvation is on this Weekend, 16th and 17th of January I thought it would be a good idea to see who wants to cruise down to the Kwinana Motorplex together on Saturday? Just a good way to kick things off. Gates open at 10am, so we could discuss a good meet point and meet time and then cruise down there? Let me know what you all think!

See this is a debateable subject lol. I actually emailed the WAPOL and they told me that they are not illegal, it is just not recommended to have them without washers and wipers. I have 6000K low beams and 12000K high beams, they passed the pits

Hey all, Not sure if this topic has been raised before, searching for 'speed cameras' brings up a lot of threads. Today when me and my mate were driving out towards El Cabello's resort near Wundowie on the GEH, we came across a pretty serious car crash. Traffic was stopped completely, so i asked a police officer that was directing traffic what had happened. Apparently a flat-tray truck carrying a caravan had been speeding and slammed the brakes on when he saw a speed camera and he fishtailed off the road and into the bush. Those are 100km/h roads out there, and he was speeding so im sure you can imagine the scene. Just to paint a picture though, the truck had gone about 15 metre's off the road and up a 2m high, verticle embankment. The whole cab was completely crushed and the block had been pushed up into the cab. Very serious accident, but i didn't want to ask on the condition of the driver so im not sure. My point is, do you think speed camera's promote safety or cause accidents? Personally i do not know how much they do to prevent people speeding, as obviously there are still lots of people speeding everywhere. Plus when people drive past a camera, they instantly assume that there won't be any more camera's and it is now safe to speed. And as the accident i mentioned shows, lots of people panic when they see a speed camera and slam on the brakes, sometimes even if they aren't speeding. In a car (or truck) that doesn't have great braking ability, slamming on the brakes is never a good idea. So do what role do you think speed camera's play in road safety?

Double Demerits Christmas/new Year.
Hanaldo replied to Tony de Wonderful's topic in Western Australia
Well it makes sense to me, there are lots of people that only drink during the festive season and then want to drive home. Or drive stupidly because they are frustrated at the amount of traffic, or want to get to the shops quickly so they can finish christmas shopping. -

Well during the holiday period, people are twice as likely to drink and drive and do stupid things. Makes sense that the penalty is twice as harsh -
Nah, problems are things like my headlights and stereo turning off when i flick on my indicator, stereo turns off first time i put my foot on the brake after starting the car. Stereo always turns straight back on though. Its like there is a surge and things go into protection. There are problems with the car off too, like if i put my foot on the brake then the interior light goes really dim. And when i switch my car off the headlights instantly go out and all the other lights flicker and go dim. Voltmeter drops down to about 8

Has anybody got a standard battery for an R34? Ive got electrical problems which i think is a f**ked battery, just wanted to see if somebody could lend me their battery to see if it fixes the problem? Can drive to you and try it out at your place, don't need to take it anywhere, just want to try out a standard R34 battery before i go buy a new one...

Mmmm i agree with most of the posts in here, while i think incorrect badging is stupid, i also believe the owner of the car can do what they want as long as they don't try to pass it off as what they have badged it as. Having read the for sale post Canute is referring to (I assume so anyway, can't imagine there are that many of them), i have to say i completely disagree with the seller and what he is/was trying to do. A couple of months ago i read his previous for sale thread where he was trying to sell his GTT as a GTR with an engine swap. I think that is wrong, and should be illegal if it isn't already. Now he has changed his thread so that he identifies it as a GTT, but clearly tries to explain how nobody will ever know that it isn't a GTR. While it is a very nice looking car (It looks exactly like an R34 GTR, so of course its sexy as), i don't think it should ever try to be passed off as a GTR. It is what it is, and that is a dressed up GTT

100% agreed, badging incorrectly is ghey and should never be done

Sean, PM replied mate *sigh* while im not really too worried about power in this car, im not happy with 138 at all I could have sworn it would make at least 150, maybe 160... Perhaps time to seriously consider bolting on the turbo

Ahhh double clutching, incredibly important, especially with todays synchro gear boxes. And you just can not stress enough how important it is to double clutch in an auto or tip-tronic car, absolutely vital. Lol, i love fast and furious dramatism -
Yesss, only 50hp more than me

Yeh your Zed pulled 228 at the wheels today right? I don't think there is any way that could beat a Carerra S, unless it was broken or wasn't driving hard... -
138.6 I blame my f**ked battery and the hot day... It is in NO way down to the very low boost my car is running
