Yeh as i said i really have no idea how their cruise was set up, i was just going off what the guys from antilag told me and my mates. I have edited that out of my post. As for how they were driving, i think enough has been said previously in the thread.

That is what the guys from Antilag told me and my mates when we were talking to them at the messed up meet point in Glen Forrest. They were saying how their cruise was a race and the first car to arrive won a $1000 set of tyres. However you are right, and ill take back what i said, i really have no idea if it was a race and i shouldn't bad mouth other clubs. Those guys were the guys driving dangerously in the later stages of our cruise, so it is highly possible that they treated the cruise as a race, even though it wasn't set up like that. I am not an Antilag member, so i can not say how their cruises are designed and set up.

As i said before, i was very proud of the behavior the people from this forum (and probably other forums, i just dunno which), nobody here was involved in any stupid shit. Tim has apologized, I don't see why this should be an ongoing argument. There was nobody from this forum on our cruise that behaved badly at all, the only dangerous driving we saw all night was courtesy of our 'antilag tag-alongs'. I agree with Nic and Joe, the last thing i would wanna see happen is one of our cruises turn into an antilag cruise, where 4 cars got yellowed before they even reached the meet point.

Yeh why was the Midland meet point not in the undercover bit on the two story parking next to where we were? Not only would the cars have sounded mint under there, it would have been an awesome place for photo's. That's where i thought we were meeting

That black 350Z that was with the antilag guys pissed me off as well, overtook me on Roe hwy and went into the shoulder, spat up huge amounts of gravel and chipped the shit out of my bonnet and front bar. Spent all of yesterday repainting my front bar, didn't have enough paint to do my bonnet so i just patched it up n it looks shit Will have to repaint it properly when i get back from South Africa.

Yeh there is lots of rubber up there. Behavior from the people on our cruise was really good though, nobody was being stupid, was just the antilag kids that were driving quite dangerously, namely that blue WRX (i think, the one with the white vinyls).

Lol yeh the map was a little fail at some points, we can iron that out and hopefully run an improved Crossroads Cruise again Glad we managed to sort out the mishap in Mundaring as well... lol. Brett has been banned from SAUWA im pretty sure, so i will see if he can post the pictures on West Coast Cruisers and ill post them up here. Good thing Walker is a good bloke hey, glad the car is fine Can't use a GPS unless you wanna spend ages chopping and changing the route it wants to take, cruises never go from point A to point B directly, wouldn't be much fun if they did. For example, meet point in Mundaring, enter finish point at City West into the GPS and you completely miss the zig zags and all the fun roads. Dude that suuucks, i was so pissed off when i heard about it. I was one of the guys talking to you at Dog Swamp about how you had just had your door painted and 2 days later someone keyed it, youre just having the worst luck Hope you get the car fixed soon, it is such a nice ride!

Yellow can be extended, but when i went over the pits in August they told me it can only be extended by one week less than how long you were given to take it over the pits. So if the policeman gave you 3 weeks to take it over the pits, the pits can only give you a 2 week extension for the next time, and then after that you can only get one week extensions. Im sure about this as well, as one of the things the pits told me to remove were my racing pedals, but i didn't have the factory accelerator pedal so i ordered one from Nissan. Nissan told me it would take 3 weeks to arrive, so i went back to the pits to see if i could get another extension. Turns out i couldn't and had to drill a brake pedal of an AU falcon onto the accelerator in order to pass.

Once again, real sorry about the accident. Saw a photo of the damage, doesn't look good Drove past him pulled over on Reid just after where it happened, was going to stop and pull over but one of the Ceffy's had already pulled over, think it was Dani, so i thought everything was ok. Was talking to Nick at the Dog Swamp meet point, he was a real nice guy, we were talking about how clean his car was and how he had just got it fixed and repainted and then someone keyed it, and then last night that cockhead smashed into him

Lol funny that the antilag people were all saying how we were gonna get a whole bunch of stickers because we posted where we were going on the cruise, and then their cruise got busted up and 3 people got stickered before they even got to the meet point Anyway, i had fun, was good to meet everyone and was quite happy with the turnout. Thanks for coming everyone that did!
