Hey everyone, just wanted to find out if anyone knows if a SAFC Neo will fit into an R34 NA, as the topic title states? I want to buy one, but my model isnt in the wiring booklet, so does anyone know if it uses the same wiring as an R33 RB25, or what the deal is? Cheers, Martin

Should we assume both cars are GTR's? Ill say no cos one is a four door lol. In my opinion i would go for the 33, purely because i would never own any automatic car, let alone a sports car. Ive heard from a few people on these forums that their automatic gear boxes are letting them down heavily. In terms of coupe vs sedan, im not 100% sure, but doesnt the sedan have different suspension? Ie, softer, more body roll. Not to mention a sedan would be heavier, so i think the 33 beats it for handling. Speed would probably be a close one, but once again i think weight would be a factor. Anyway, im definitely no expert, fun topic though =D R34 manual coupe ftw! =P

I tried to find stores that sell Skyline posters a little while ago, never had any luck. In the end i got an A3 Z-Tune R34 poster from allposters.com, wasnt too expensive and it arrived the next day. Right now it is like $8 for the same poster...

Just another thought i had, what happens to an ECU like the AFC Neo if the battery goes flat or is disconnected? Will it lose all of its settings and reset itself to factory settings?

Ok, i did a search and the SAFC has been discontinued, can only get the AFC Neo now, i assume that is what you have Levi? So it will fit just about any car? It only costs around $450, so i think i might get that if that is the case. The AFC Neo would still be suitable for my current NA and later down the track the turbo? Thanks for your help guys

Yeh i had thought of the SAFC II, but i thought they were really only useful for changing afr? Would SAFC be just as good as SAFC II? And where can i get one for an R34 RB25DE, as i said before, ive only found things for 33's and GTR's. Maybe i will look into them some more, thanks for that man

Hey guys/girls, Does anyone know where i can purchase an aftermarket ECU system for an R34 RB25DE, either GReddy E-Manage or something similar? My car is a non-turbo now, but i am going down the conversion path soon, so i wanted something that i could use now to get the most out of my NA, and then when i get the turbo it can be retuned. Thing is wherever i look, people only seem to be selling them for 33's or GTR's. So would they be the same for 33's and 34's? I thought they had different looms, etc... Also, what wiring harnesses would i need to get? Damn things get real confusing when youre trying to find out what you need. And would it be worth getting the E-Manage Ultimate considering what im planning, or will Blue be suitable for my plans? Or if anyone has any other suggestions of ECU's... Mmmm gotta say dude, in my opinion its yuck. Worst spoiler ever made. May be expensive, but i would pay someone to take it away for me. I say take it off, sell it, you could get some money for it. Each to their own of course though

Haha cheers, panda theme lol, wasnt really going for that but i suppose it is lol. Whole colour scheme of the car is black and white, white car, black interior, white GTR spoiler with smaller black wing, etc. Thought it would keep it smooth =] Havent got any pics of it installed yet because i only just finished painting it lol, it is touch dry but i wanna give it about a day before i throw it back in the engine bay. Will take some pics when it is installed again

Well it could work, except i cant get my hand or a tool in to where the nut goes to hold it and stop it turning, which i assume would be why they used captive nuts in the first place

Dammit, i hate people right now. Why do some people insist on taking what isnt theirs, they can never earn for themselves the things that they want. Sorry to hear man, i hope you get your parts back, looks like it was a great machine. Ill keep an eye out for you

Does anyone know what sort of nut i am meant to use to attach my front bar to the body? And where i can get them from? Just going through the process of fixing up some of the things the previous owner did, and i noticed he lost a bolt and nut from the front bar so it wobbles around and looks quite flimsy. I would use one of the other nuts as an example, but i cant get them out so i dunno what they look like. Cheers for any help, Martin

Seems there are a few of us wanting the same thing, perhaps a group buy is in order? First i would really like to know who is best though. I emailed all 3 companies today, including JCTrimming, so hopefully i get my quotes back soon. Has no one on the forum had any work done by any of these guys? And i mean like full retrims, seats and everything

Hey guys and girls, Im planning to get leather retrim for my 34, just wanted to find out if anyone has experience with either Proseats or Ultimate Auto Trim, i want to go with one of these two but having read a couple of different threads, there are a few complaints about Proseats being hard to install with lots of zip ties, etc. On the other hand i havent heard much about UAT, so i dunno what they are like. So basically what i want to do is get white door inserts, mojority black seats, with perforated grey leather in the middle, kind of like the stock sort of look but in leather. And then i wanted GT embroidered on the seats. I know Proseat do the GT embroidery, but UAT dont give it as an example? So basically i just wanted to find out if anyone has used either of the companies and what their opinions are? And how good the end product is, do the seats look factory like the companies claim? I know UAT have a 100% satisfaction guarantee, but i dont want the hassel if im not satisfied lol. Cheers for any help

Ive got a TomTom ONEXL and it totally gets lost with itself lol. Starts tripping out and doesnt know where you are, thinks youre driving through a paddock. I was going along a bridge once and it told me to turn right... How about no lol. I never have the volume up, disrupts the music

Tonight when i was driving around totally lost in cannington sort of area lol, on my way home from Pot Black, i was driving out of a mcdonalds parking where someone in what i think was a 300ZX had been pulled over by some cops in an SS commodore. I had to give way to a couple of cars, so i was sitting there looking straight at this scene. The cop outside of the car looked at me for awhile and then pointed at me and made some hand motion which i now think was indicating me to pull over. Anyway i didnt realise and just pulled off. A little while later i was stopped at a traffic light and the same cops pulled up next to me. They were checking me out the whole cycle until our light turned green and we got going. About a minute up the road the cop changed lanes and came up behind me. Eventually they turned their lights on and flashed me, so i started pulling over. As we came to a stop on the side of the road, the cops turned their lights off and took off down the road... I was left there wondering where the hell i was and what the hell just happened lol. Ive decided i dont like cannington lol. Moral of the story: Dont buy TomTom navigation systems lol
