  1. Just to let everyone know, my car was just found dumped, thankfully in the same condition they took it. Nothing been taken off the car, and on initial inspection doesn't look like there's any damage. It's been towed to forensics tonight and I should get it back tomorrow arvo. Going to get it towed straight to my tuner for a full mechanical check before I drive it anywhere. But to everyone that helped in sharing it, thank you so so much. It was through the 'Perth Crime Reports' Facebook Page that someone recognised the car and gave me a call. Can't even describe how much it means to me.
  2. That's alright mate, not fussed. Would rather get 50 prank calls and 1 about my car than 0 altogether. Thanks for your help.
  3. Thanks mate.
  4. Brick through the window, keys were hanging on the hook. I'm sure they were casing the place because I am home 99% of the time. I went out for an hour to pick my girlfriend up from work, came home to this. Seriously regretting not getting a GPS tracking system. I was so close, then decided I was being paranoid and my car was never gonna get stolen.
  5. Thanks Richard. Not very hopeful, but I've gotta give it a go.
  6. Hey all, Never thought I would have to do this, but could everyone please keep an eye out for my pride and joy R34 GTT, it was stolen today from Ellenbrook between 3pm and 4:30pm. Highly modified, very recognisable. License plates are 1BKI 810. Also please keep an eye out for this list of parts, I know how these things work: Link G4 Plug-In, Greddy Profec B-Spec II EBC, Haltech 3 bar MAP sensor, externally gated Hypergear ATR43 G3, Turbosmart Compgate40, 1000cc Injector Dynamics injectors , Plazmaman FFP, Plazmaman 72mm throttle body, JJR 3" bellmouth dump/front pipe, VENOM 5" 100 cell cat, 3" custom Kermit Engineering exhaust, Walbro 460lph fuel pump, Continental ethanol content sensor, GReddy FMIC, AGP triple core alloy radiator, stock GTR bov, custom Pro Fabrications alloy oil catch can/radiator overflow combo with Earls fittings, Splitfire coilpacks, HKS fuel rail, Sard FPR, Speedflow braided fuel and turbo lines, Performance Springs valve springs and retainers, Tomei Type-B Poncams, HKS exhaust cam gear, Headtorque custom bronze valve guides, ARP head studs. Exedy Ceramic racing clutch, custom driveshaft. BC Racing BR series coilovers, Kazama adjustable toe arms, front strut bar. 18" Wolf S36's, factory GTST brake calipers , RDA slotted rotors F&R, HEL braided lines, EBC Greenstuff front pads, Ferodo pads GTR rear wing, Top Secret front bar , custom retrofit projectors, Sparco R505 racing seats driver and passenger, Recaro seat rails, ARK Design MFD , Zeitronix ethanol content analyzer, AEM wideband, 4x Shadow Pro series gauges, custom carbon fibre bits. PLEASE PLEASE, if you see it or hear anything, call the police or me on 0431047984. I don't hold much hope of getting it back in one piece, but it's a very recognisable car with very recognisable parts, so I'll give it a shot.
  7. Except they could be new standard coil packs, in which case they will be just as good as splitfires.
  8. And again just now on Wanneroo, heading towards Reid? Heh, I swear the driver looks just like you as well. Car is identical. You've got the racewarz sticker on your windscreen Yeh? And battery /tow stickers?
  9. Why not get custom bronze guides made up while you're at it?
  10. Keep the tank full, you'll be sweet I don't see the point in a surge tank unless the car is mainly used for track. If you're just doing the occasional track day then I don't believe they are necessary.
  11. Are you tracking the car? If not, you don't need a surge tank. And a single intank Walbro 460 will do the job. But I don't think your budget is big enough to convert to E85, especially if you don't have big enough injectors. You'd be better off doing the wastegate spring and upping the boost. Maybe if you find out your injectors are a bit small then you can stretch the budget a little and see if you can get some ID1000's, then you'll be almost set to go to E85 when you get some more cash.
  12. Good way to pin point is to get a piece of hose, stick one end in your ear and poke the other one around the engine bay. Or if your missus is a nurse like mine then an old stethoscope is perfect Personally I don't like spraying soapy water around my engine bay, too many shiny parts to have to clean up afterwards
  13. Jayrod (pretty sure it was you) on Wanneroo Rd about half an hour ago.
  14. It goes to the back of the intake manifold. But it's a push-on fitting on the manifold so I just used standard rubber hose to behind the head, then an AN-AN adapter with a push in fitting on one side and braided line on the other. Makes it a bit more expensive but it's all straight fittings so it's not too bad. I wouldn't do it any other way, hard lines and banjo fittings are the worst.
  15. Haha just make up some braided lines Mani. It's easy to do and not too expensive. Makes turbo installation a breeze
  16. Haha thanks mate. It's got a bit invested in it Yeh haha, but to be honest, doing all the work myself does make it affordable. Parts are easy because it's just a little bit here and there, but the labour would be a real killer if I wasn't willing to give it all a go myself. For anyone waiting on vids of Powercruise, I promise they are still coming! Haha. Have had some issues with my video editing software which I'm still trying to figure out. But I'll get there!
  17. Are you just leaving that breather open to atmosphere?
  18. Nice! Good opportunity to upgrade then!
  19. Ah bugger! That sucks man. No other damage??
  20. Nah, I've seen the screamer through the bonnet on a few cars at Powercruise over the years, no visible damage to the bonnet or paint or carbon or anything else. Seems to work fine.
  21. I'm using the continental sensor. Works really well.
  22. You still haven't told us what it made? The biggest thing I noticed about getting my car tuned for the first time wasn't the power, it was the drive-ability. The car was a lot smoother and nippier than it was with the factory tune. I wouldn't get too hung up about the number, especially when it's dyno vs dyno and only 10kw difference.
  23. What's the game play like on this? Lag ok?
  24. This. I know my tuner likes to set the CAS to full advanced on cars with a stand alone ecu, then tune from there. Means people can't then try to advance the timing (lookin' at you AngryRB, nawwwty!) or put it in the wrong spot if they have to remove it. Not a bad idea really.
  25. It's all about having the flashiest tail feather my friend! Good thing about the arms, make sure they do it properly this time! Pretty poor effort last time, hard to believe they thought that was good enough to give back to you.
