  1. This. I'm all for other people paying my taxes for me
  2. The 33's must be a lot different to the 34's then, there is no way in hell that the rears could go all the way down on my car without a lot of modification. Now that I think about it, the rears must have a lot more than 60-70mm still to go because the upper control arm assembly was coming into contact with the inner guard and wheel with at least 70mm of thread to go.
  3. Am using a JJR one myself, no leaks.
  4. If its a slow leak then it will take awhile to make a difference to your oil level. Have you tried just cleaning everything up to see if it comes back??
  5. Haha yeh all good mate, was just joking I've got the BC Racing BR series coilovers on it. The front ones were maxed out before, the rear could still go another 60-70mm lower Am much happier with the current clearance though, can actually drive it properly.
  6. Have you got VCT? They are only a waste of money if you've got your VCT setup properly.
  7. Ah good to hear mate, gotta be relieved about that. Got anywhere with the oil leak yet?
  8. Really? Is that your truck-spec 34 in your sig? I joke I joke Doesn't look as good but it was stupid before. Lowered it for a car show and couldn't be bothered raising it up again after. It used to scrape if I went around a corner too fast
  9. Ugh. Lots mate. Has been posted before on here quite a few times, have you tried searching?
  10. Srs. Raised it up 20mm this morning, this is how it sits now: Keep in mind that's without the front lip fitted, makes it about an inch lower.
  11. Oil is so cheap though, you might as well use the good stuff. Costs me $16 a litre for Royal Purple 10w40, peanuts.
  12. Oh yeh for sure, I'd have rated the apexi panel over the pod, interesting that there was no difference. I imagine that if you had done a few full load runs then left the car to sit and heat soak, there would have been a bigger difference.
  13. Well it obviously depends on the pod/panel filter/etc in use, but I've definitely seen just a pod filter free up 1-2psi before.
  14. Doesn't fit under the side of my car lol. I can't fit my iPhone4 between my front bumper and the ground Fits under the diff at the back but no room to jack it up, have to drive up onto chocks.
  15. It's very possible not to boost lol. If you want to install the turbo before you get it tuned then you don't boost it, simple. On the stock ecu it will hardly boost before it hits r&r anyway.
  16. It'll be fine, just don't boost.
  17. Yeh... Wouldn't fit under mine ^ Should really raise it up a bit, as good as it looks it's really pretty silly.
  18. Pod filter gets the engine breathing better, will free up a bit more flow. Cannon wouldn't have made much difference but probably wouldn't need to. The gauge is possibly a little bit off as well so it's not too much of a stretch for the pod to have freed it up to about 10. Otherwise are you sure the previous owner didn't install an RB20 actuator on the turbo, they are a 10psi spring.
  19. Fkn loving this game
  20. 26's are easy enough, so just keep gapping it down until it stops. I'd start with 0.8mm as Sarge said. Mine had to be gapped down to 0.6.
  21. Sounds like them. I wouldn't use their exhausts or silicon hoses etc, but their plenum is decent.
  22. It's not 'needed' but it will help with boost control. I've got a 7psi spring in my comp-gate40 and hold 18psi dead flat with the wastegate plumbed up like this.
  23. That's because it's Autobahn88 not Autobarn. Autobarn is the franchise retailer, Autobahn88 is the performance store that sells the copy Greddy plenums On topic, my mate uses an Autobahn88 Greddy copy on his 25. Was decent quality, everything fitted together fine and the build quality was decent enough. For 400-500 odd bucks, can't go wrong.
  24. But has it been setup to apply pressure to both sides of the diaphragm? It's unlikely but it's quick and easy to check, could have been overlooked?
  25. Has the boost controller been set up properly?? I am only using two 7psi springs in my Comp-gate40, but with the boost controller it holds 20psi dead flat.
